This is really one of the better wuxia dramas that's out now!!!!!!!! The story is moving at a right pace, there's little scenes that felt dragged out.... Each episode really makes you want to move on to the next. The post production team really did a good job!!! The CGI were really on point too!!
Of course, not forgetting the actors! Perhaps the only SMALL improvement may be the casting of a better (prettier) FL, but other than that, everyone else was great! Lei Meng Sha is funny without being too fake; Prince Lang Ya looks like a big brother and natural; Yan Jie played such a great father. Also can't wait to see how Sikong Chang Feng develops in the series! Special call out to Ling Su, the young girl really acted so naturally and how she held her hands was so elegant! Of course, Baili Dong Jun really delivered. Cute but not annoying, dashing without being oily!

I really want to love this drama but Mai Mai did not make her character 100% believable for me. In comparison, ZLH portraited a more developed character. And when they are together, they feel more like siblings rather than a couple! ie: I don't have the urge to binge on the episodes and want them to get together faster..... Am really trying hard to stay on this!!!!

I loved the novel but really cannot get behind the casting for the drama! ML a bit too old for the role - the 8 years gap (in novel) looks like more than 12 years gap in the drama!
