Did anyone understand what was going on in episode 33? What's going on with Mimi Guli? And what does the Khutan say at the very end of the episode? Thank you in advance.
Episode 24: I can understand why he snapped... She has been running around making all kinds of fucked up plans…
I didn't know that because a man was in love with a woman, it was her fault if he chosed to risk his life for her. She never asked him for help, always made plans so as to not involve him or his division and expressly asked him not to intervene. But she has the right to save the people she cares about. Why is he complimented when he risks his life and his men for a person he cares about but she gets blamed when she does the same?
I can't believe Du Ru Hui is chasing down Changge even in his deathbed xD What possible threat could a little…
Someone, Leyan or other, would have to write to the Emperor to tell him what's going on. It is incredible that a minister would allow himself to override the orders of his emperor!
The relationship between A’Sun and Changge kinda sad and one-sided. He is way more into her than vice versa.…
It's not a one-sided love, it's just that they're not at the same point in their feelings. Firstly, Ashile Sun is in the invading side which allows him to be more tender with Changge than she can afford to be with someone who invades her country, causing the death of her men, and makes her a slave. Secondly, for 15 episodes, Changge thinks Sun is an unscrupulous merchant. We quickly see that she is attracted to him but cannot allow this attraction to develop given the little she knows about him and the fact that she has her own goal. Moreover, until episode 16, she believes their relationship is that of two men (since she doesn't know he discovers her gender) which kept her from seeing that Sun had romantic affection for her. In view of all this, it is understandable that her romantic feelings takes longer to develop unlike Sun who quickly discovers that she is a woman as well as her real identity and is in a position of strength against her. .
We need to get some MV artists involved in our fandom! I need a steady supply of expertly woven scenes, stringed…
I approve so much! I long for beautiful fmv about the story, the characters, the couples and so on... Have you seen these 2 videos that tell the story of the main couple step by step using the drama's OST? The meeting and the friendship between Sun & Changge: https://youtu.be/617mGssOiuo The war with Sun & Changge on each side: https://youtu.be/tjvapFSNF5Y I posted them under your videos post.
I didn't know it was a deleted scene...Is that why she kicked him where it hurt the most ?lol...
Yeah it seems so. The two have the same outfit as in this scene (male outfit for Mimi that she will never have again after that) and Mimi is holding the plate with the sheep. So it seems the reason she was supposed to hit him was for that before they deleted it.
So it's Sheer who grabbs the Khan's gift by force? Or did Sheer cheat and make the Khan think he won and it was Sun who grabbs the gift from Sheer's hand? It was a bit confused. And the camera suggests that the kid in blue was Sheer but on twitter people are using the photo of the same boy to talk about Sun.
I just realized that in the ending we see Mu Jin accidentally touching Mimi Guli's breasts during their fight for food in episode 18. So that must be the real reason she is hitting him at this time. Anyone know why it got deleted while it's still in the ending? And do you think we'll have deleted scene (like kiss or others)?
How can you watch the raw ep. but subbed?? Or u just watch them raw ??
Personally, I watch the subtitled episodes on viki (2 episodes at 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Otherwise, I watch the raw of the following episodes on duboku but since I don't understand, I skipped a lot.
I didt quite understand the first 2 epsiode like why only Chang Ge mother is killed who else is killed and why…
The female lead is the only daughter of the Crown Prince. Her grandfather, at the end of his life, is the emperor and has 3 sons. Changge's 2nd uncle had his 2 brothers and their family killed by saying that they were going to rebel, which justifies the killing in the eyes of the people and the emperor. We only see Changge's mother's body because that's where Changge is going. Her father died outside the palace and her brothers were certainly killed with him or in their quarters (being the children of concubines). Don't hesitate if you have other questions.
I agree with you. Everytime changge does try to risk her life because she thought there is no purpose of living…
I agree with you, there is something very suspicious about this. First, it is impossible that Kuthan, who is in her tent all day, could not only know that Changge was a girl but that she was also from the Central Plains. Then, it's weird that she trusts this stranger, telling her about all her woes as Changge caused problems for Sher. And finally, oddly enough, she's no longer there to protect Alir when she returns, nor during all the time Sher threatens Sun with his mother. And it's only when Sher is in danger that she shows herself. Besides, it's pretty fishy that it's Sher's right-hand man, who is loyal to Kuthan and seems to have a secret agenda with her that Sher ignores, who stops Alir and inspects the barrel. As if it was planned to make her accused of this crime.
And yes, Changge and A'Sun both neglected the consequences of such an act, it is their only fault here.
I watched episodes 22 and 25 last night. And I would like to say something to those who were so angried after the FL that they questioned the writing of the drama.
The FL didn't do anything wrong here. Even though she became Ashile Sun's military advisor, she is still a slave in the eyes of others who must serve him until she's finished her contract. She also had recently realized a truth: Ashile Sun is in the enemy camp and despite his promise not to harm Tang, he is forced to obey orders and sends his men to fight Tang in episode 20/21. She is in enemy territory, with soldiers fighting to destroy her country. And yet, all the plans she makes to protect her country are planned in such a way that they don't involve the division of the Eagle and A'Sun. She disguises herself as a member of the wolf's division, she protects A'Sun in front of the great Khan, she is ready to be killed by Sher rather than confess that she works for A'Sun and so on. But she has the right to fight to protect her country, her family, her friends. She has the right to be ready to die for it.
General Luo Yi is a friend of her father, whom she has known since childhood and who treats her like a niece. He is a loyal, courageous and respectable man. How do she looks herself in the face if she lets him be tortured horribly and brutally killed? She has the right to choose to risk her life to help him. It does not involve anyone but herself. It's her decision and she had a good plan with Sher's mother. But Sher goes to understand the connection between Sun and Changge by overhearing a discussion of the Eagle's division. Then, because of his rivalry with Sun, will use Changge to enrage him at the feast. Ashile Sun, out of love for her and because of the rivalry between him and Sher, will confront the latter savagely and they will seriously injure themselves, preventing them from participating in the hunt the next day, thwarting Changge's plans. Sher will also become even more suspicious after this, which immediately makes him realize what is going on with the general's escape. After that, it is Sun who decides to involve the division of the Eagle to save a traitor and reveal to all that she belongs to him.
I'm not saying Sun is at fault. I'm just saying that Changge didn't do anything wrong. She planned things for herself, according to her beliefs, not involving her friends in the Eagle Division. But Sun chose to get involved on his own and involve his men. The rivalry between him and Sher existed before Changge, the scheming of Sher's right-hand man to get rid of the Eagle's division existed as well before her. And finally, Sun's mother was involved because she was in the service of Princess Yincheng and there is nothing that could have been done to prevent that, given the plan established. Even the reason why Sun's mother dies has nothing to do with Changge but everything with the rivalry between the 2 brothers. Changge plan only has had a snowball effect, exploding all the dormant conflicts.
In conclusion, Changge has nothing to be ashamed of. The only thing she needs to understand in the future is that she is no longer alone, there are people who care about her. And, just as she cannot abandon the General at the risk of her life, those close to her (Mimi, A’Sun) are also willing to risk their lives to protect her. She must also learn to cherish her body, her life. She tends to go on suicide missions because she has no purpose anymore and doesn't respect herself and it has to change. As for Ashile Sun, he hasn't done anything wrong too, he has every right to want to protect the woman he loves. He was stuck in a shit situation and he did what he could. The only problem being that he implicated his men in a betrayal. I think Sun, for his part, must learn to understand Changge's point of view. He often understands her, but he lacks the perspective of the Tang people to understand what Changge is desperate to protect.
The two strands of hair are a HUGE part of the source material, almost their own character. This is how you quickly…
Thanks for writing this! I completely agree.
It is a story of learning and revenge above all. The FL is still young, she has not yet reached the maturity and experience of the ML. Plus, it's not a harem drama so such a quick romance would seem unrealistic and uninteresting. Each episode we have interactions between the leads that build and forge their relationship. They help each other, become friends, confide in each other, argue, discover each other's secrets and so on. But the FL still has a long way to go before reaching the same point as the ML. He knew she was a woman fairly quickly and then investigated and found out her identity. It is normal that he may have developed feelings sooner. While the FL believed for 16 episodes that their interactions were that of 2 men and thought for 15 episodes that he was just an unscrupulous merchant. It is normal that it takes her more time to unravel her feelings and to form a real opinion about ML. Even if we see from the start that she is attracted to him and cares about him.
If the leads had little interaction and their scenes did not build their romance or were toxic, then we could have complained about the lack of romance. But here, every scene serves their romance. It establishes stone by stone their mutual understanding, their admiration, respect, sacrifice, disagreement and so on.
Personally, I find each scene extremely beautiful and strong. Romance isn't all about kissing all the time. It is living things in common, arguing, understanding, protecting and so on.
4- Did anyone notice when alir was getting killed by sheer then khutan was nowhere to be find when she was the…
It is obvious that she is manipulative. As Changge asks: "why are you telling me all this while we just met?". It is obvious that she understood that Changge was a kind girl, touched by sad stories and that's how she gained her trust. The plan to use her maid was extremely dangerous and, indeed, she was nowhere the entire scene where her maid was held captive by her son and then killed.
Interestingly, the man alongside the Young Khan (whom he calls Uncle, I believe) calls Kuthan "Princess". Which shows that he is not loyal to Ashile Tribe but to the Sui Dynasty where the princess is from. Therefore, it is obvious that even though the mother cannot see her son, this man by Young Khan's side serves her and their interests.
I don't know how far you watced, but there is a scene in episode 25 or 26 that made me realize something. Since her appearance, I suspect Mimi Guli of being a spy even though she's nice and a victim. And in episode 25 or 26, she has a reaction to the news that Changge may be hurt that looks like guilt. I think she must have told Kuthan that Changge was a girl and that Sun knew it. After all Mimi Guli was a slave to Sher before. I can see her going to see Kuthan to beg her to save Changge. It is impossible that Kuthan, locked in her tent all day, could have understood Changge's identity on her own. Everything has been done to push Ashile Sun and his division to blame for eliminating this threat to Kuthan's son. But that's just my opinion.
As for the concubine of the great Khan, it is said that it was Kuthan who had given her to her husband. So it is obvious that they have a secret agenda.
Why do I have the feeling this will end in tragedy? Not watching it yet but saw the trailer and have that feeling.…
In view of the unfolding of the drama and the images of the ending (at the end of each episode), I think / hope that it will be a happy ending. This drama, despite the harshness it shows, still seems less gloomy than other historical dramas. And we feel that it is a story of learning. What is the use of learning if the end is tragic? That's why I believe in a happy ending.
Thank you in advance.
