There are no words to properly express the fantastic job BOC made, not only with them, but with kinn and porsche too. They already changed a lot of things and they put so much care and respect when handling certain topics that i can't help but trust that so I will ignore the novel and keep thinking about vegas worshipping every inch of pete's body and the two of them just slaughtering anyone who even thinks about laying a hand on the other because it's their world. No one will hurt the other without facing death.

The problem is, daemi portrayed him otherwise. They added those 5 special chapters, showing us his development only to take it back to square one now. It doesn't make sense and its badly written imo. You cant go from 0 to 100 with a character so easy
I'm not saying I want an angel, Vegas could easily relapse from time to time, violence is a part of him and we can't expect it to be erased but this is taking us all the way back to a rapist. Vegas' development reached its peak. We see him as a changed man, the sweet guy who loves Pete above everything. Then, boom! Every thing was stolen away from us. If it weren't for the special chapters where we witness Vegas bond with venice and meet Pete's grandma then this wouldn't surprise me because even if Vegas had profoundly confessed his love for Pete in their final showdown with the main family, I would know he was still the bipolar psychopath at his core and he couldn't completely changed his nature in a blink but they showed too much development. Daemi shouldn't have given us the changed Vegas first, only to throw it all away and revert him back to his old self
