I'm not saying I want an angel, Vegas could easily relapse from time to time, violence is a part of him and we can't expect it to be erased but this is taking us all the way back to a rapist. Daemi's existence has added another variable to all this. Because kinnporsche and vegaspete will forever be linked, whether book or show. Whether the show decides to change things or not, there will still be a universe where Vegas continues to abuse Pete and it's disheartening to have that kind of information.
We are back to square one?? I saw people trying to reason it out by saying Vegas just havent started to like Venice as if that's an excuse for child abuse. Let me ask you, did Pete gave consent because to me the answer is clear as day : NO.
Vegas' development reached its peak. We see him as a changed man, the sweet guy who loves Pete above everything. Then, boom! Every thing was stolen away from us. If it weren't for the special chapters where we witness Vegas bond with venice and meet Pete's grandma then this wouldn't surprise me because even if Vegas had profoundly confessed his love for Pete in their final showdown with the main family, I would know he was still the bipolar psychopath at his core and he couldn't completely changed his nature in a blink but they showed too much development. Daemi shouldn't have given us the changed Vegas first, only to throw it all away and revert him back to his old self.
Vegas can still take down Korn together with Porsche without him needing to be this kind of person. We want ruthless, unforgiving mafia head Vegas with equally badass Pete next to him, NOT PORSCHE like can you make Porsche and Vegas to not to get along? Cuz everytime these two work together, they became the walking hazard to everyone around them.
AND PLEASE stop this bad representation of bdsm. All the show or the books have to do is include a conversation about what both parties want, don't portray bdsm with each ease. I'm not even asking for good behaviour. I'm not asking for the characters to be perfect. They could make mistake, push boundaries, ignore safewords. They could fuck up but let them express conviction.
I have said it before, I love VegasPete story both in the novel and the series but I like their relationship in…
As always you are on point 😭❤ my smart potato, I am honestly so disappointed and disgusted with daemi's choice 💀 like they dont understand what development is
Dude are u kidding me 🥲 daemi replied to a post that said " boc should change the sequel of vp in the live action " and daemi said " Hahahaha no, boc can't do anything without our approval "
Pete being in all that much agony, and literally struggling to get free, begging Vegas to stop but to no avail while they are in a fucking relationship. Daemi suck a dick
