Vegas catches Pete in a seemingly erotic scenario with a different man not knowing the context behind it, he kills the person and then proceeds to grab pete by the neck and choke him, approaching violence once again until he sees tears in Pete's eyes and suddenly lets go and drops to his knees realizing that he miss understood it and recognizes that the monster in him hasn't faded.

I kinda hope we see some slip-ups with vegas and his constant need for violence because its unrealistic to think hes suddenly a pro in self control
