BUT, the people should also know what are they asking for and what outcome is it really serving.. if it is genuinely…
In my opinion its important for him to think about what he has done because as he stated before " he forgot " about the situation and now its maybe the time to acknowledge where he went wrong so be can do better in the future but that's just me
Also, I have a genuine question, no shade to anyone, so please don't hate me! But what do people want him to do…
I am against this. As I stated many times before, I forgive build but at the same time Im vocal about his wrongdoings because its something that has to be said however this doesn't mean I support any aggression towards him in any way whatsoever. The best he can do right now is just take time and reflect that's all.
I see people are still arguing about it but this is the last time I'll share my thoughts on it because it's exhausting for me. No one should invalidate the right to criticize celebrities for their malicious behavior, you have to realize that words can be hurtful no matter the time they were said.
I truly believe he has changed but holding him responsible and questioning him on certain things is absolutely necessary because at the end of the day he has a platform and many people get influenced by his mentality especially the one's who idolize him.
Our environment can shape some of our judgements but it doesn't justify them so with that being said it's not an excuse nor is his age. There needs to be consequences for a person to unlearn their inner bigotry.
I'm sorry but if we all sit here and try to baby him then he will end up thinking he has no wrongdoings however that doesn't mean you can't forgive him. People are entitled to their own feelings and as long as you acknowledge his bad behavior its okay to move on from it.
Pete is still one of my favorite characters and he's very dear to me, I'm emotionally attached to him in a lot of ways but it doesn't mean I can't criticize the person who's playing him.
Also stepping away from the spotlight gives him more time to focus on reflecting and figuring out how to move forward so please be patient.
