Agh, I'm quite conflicted with this. The thing he said is mostly based on the show so I don't think it's that significant considering SA is part of it but again I'm not a victim and I have been seeing people getting triggered by that text so I won't invalidate it.

There is a difference between fiction and reality. VegasPete fan's don't condone R@pe. It is a frightful crime that no person in their right mind will support. Just because we ship them doesn't mean we are head over heels through every interaction that they had. Every reader has their own cannon when it comes to this as well as every watcher. Most of us are here for the emotional damage and the shared loneliness between them and not the r@pe itself. Poking fun at the trauma of others for whatever reason is not funny and never will be, mile made a mistake and he should acknowledge it and apologize for it, we shouldn't attack him for it nor spread hate but people are allowed to be mad at it regardless of the content of the show he is involved, that's not an excuse for it.

I have said this in my post below, I agree with you on one thing. He should not be attacked under any circumstances but people have a right to ask for an apology. The r@pe joke was in a group chat yet it was posted online and he has a platform, he has a responsibility with it -- r@pe culture is too normalized, these could trigger emotional distress and even flashbacks to the victims who read those texts and saw it being randomly thrown in there. It's actually disheartening and insensitive, fans have a right to expect an apology. I personally love him and I would forgive him if he would address it instead of brushing it off but again he shouldn't be attacked either. As for the political issue, people again have a right to be disappointed and unfollow him but they should control their emotions and not throw hate on him because of his views.

Thai fan's were mad as well because they pointed out the r@pe joke but when Tong apologized for it they brushed it off I guess? I think mile is the one who should take accountability for it but yes, I am still holding back some of my thoughts on this because I still don't know what exactly he said but even so, I'd forgive him if he apologized properly and acknowledged his mistake.

Absolutely agreed! He hasn't addressed it properly and thai fans do seem to look past it probably because Tong apologized BUT he is not the one who threw a r@pe joke in the conversation so therefore it's mile's job to take accountability for it not Tong's.
