I haven't watched the "controversial" eps 13 and 14 yet, but am I the only one who finds most cases to be incredible…
the ATM machine case is boring but after you watch ep 13-14 you will find the ATM/road case more interesting for sure... latest case is about collecting admission fees on the road...old man was cheated of 3000won which is like $2USD and he hired hanbada for a court case lolz surely there are more interesting cases around.
the father arc is so tragic and i loved how the story is executed... wow the sound directing is amazing. i can hear elements of harry potter/the queen's gambit/hans zimmer inspired style being played at the right moments.
i only just caught up to ep 14 and min woo seems like he changed overnight into another character LOL? i hope he is held accountable for his actions towards WYW? Trying to get her fired by leaking documents/talking to the reporter all these actions are grossly wrong and UNPROFESSIONAL... How could he have a happy ending with our spring sunshine?? and she could see all his tactics and defended WYW from him earlier on but now she suddenly likes him only cause he was nice to her in Jeju.
There's so much going on... is there enough time to address everything and wrap the drama up with a nice bow? i just have an ominous feeling that the drama will rush through the characters relationships during the last 30 mins of the drama
i watched 8 episodes so far and was blown away by the CGI in episode 1 and it got slower paced after that with the ML and FL interacting, kinda like a slice of life (?) i hope the pace picks up after this! kinda have second lead syndrome because of zhang ling he LOL. Note to self to rewatch flourish in time for more of him. This is one of the better xianxia drama this year!!
Haven't watch Defendent. But I thought the same. I was expecting Jung bareum to be the serial killer. But still…
yea Jung Bareum was a huge plot twist to me as i went into the drama spoiler free and clueless... he only became suss to me when he lost his memories and started having flashbacks lol..
and another loophole this big mouse drama did not cover is that why did nobody investigate who placed the gold bars, cash and evidences etc in PCH office? would have expected the father in law to look at the CCTV footages to see who planted the evidence there in the walls and ceilings if he really believed PCH was innocent. unless he is also in on it.
Attorney Ryu is so cool, i bet WYW will aspire to be like her and join her in the future or even open her own law firm to take on cases that are socially just and defend the poor since she feels quite strongly about it...
TSM in recent episodes is so different from back then when she was having a moment with WYW under the heritage tree 🌳 like ?? you are so mean to your own daughter
KMW is just there to make WYW's life miserable... just waiting for the day karma hits him lol. i predict he will probably he will be out of a job with his smelly reputation by the end of the drama.
might have missed out this detail but was the plaintiff guy actually telling the truth that they had a verbal agreement with the lottery winner to split the winnings ? and was the coffee girl witness lying in court? the lottery winner seemed convinced that she was actually lying... in the way he screamed. thanks in advance

mouse: a hidden mastermind not revealed till the later episodes
defendent: the lawyer got sent to jail wrongfully and must prove his innocence from inside it
flower of evil: supportive wife who sticks with the husband through thick and thin
