I'm asking as a total newbie to this show: is it worth watching? I've been considering it since it's still airing…
It's absolutely worth watching! It's like one of those extraordinarily ordinary shows. It's about two normal people that fall in love that are very different from each other but has a very slice of life type of vibe. Highly recommended. It's absolutely in my top 10s of my favorite shows of all time!

If you're stuck on an episode or something and can't seem to continue it, just watch the drama for Lee Do Hyun. I was stuck on moving past episode 2 since the drama came out and finally decided to continue 2 days ago, and he's the only reason I've made it to episode 14.
The only reason I watched this drama is because of Lee Do Hyun. His acting was so good and everytime he came on screen, I was so in love with him that I stayed. Everything about him is so perfect, I think I fell in love with another actor.
Lee Do Hyun and IU stands out among the cast.. both did a great job
I totally agree!!! For some reason, I was rooting for Lee Do Hyun the whole time. My heart literally broke just looking at his facial expressions and I actually cried so much. Definitely going to watch his future and previous dramas!
I'm so disappointed that they decided to keep cheon seo jin evil even though she had so much potential to be a redeemable character. i guess since she killed her father, nothing is redeemable but like it made no logical sense to kill oh yoon hee. imagine the power we could've gotten had all three ladies came together to take down joo dan tae but we can never get anything good in this life.
also, makes no sense that ha yoon chul just "fell" to his death. she pushed him but not hard enough to fall over the ledge like that. how low are those walls in korea for someone to fall over so easily?
how tf did shim so ryeon and logan lee survive the elevator scene while the whole building was being blown off???? nothing made sense this season.
joo seok kyung got off so easy too. what happened to CSJ's secretary?
the only characters that made sense were joo jenny and her mom.
Oh I understood from A to Z it bested the last best one for me...... he is against a monster not CEO so its a…
I agree! He was in control of every single situation so it was really refreshing to see him frazzled up because even when his mother died, I don't think he was as shocked as when he received CY's bloodied earrings. It's like everything good that happened to him since he came to Korea is because of her. She is the only person (other than his mom) who accepted his dark side so perfectly and silently without making it a huge deal. This is what you would call true love. They don't have to put their love into words by confessing to each other, their expressions and actions say everything.
I feel like a lot of people aren't understanding the purpose of episode 19. Let me clarify what I've understood…
This episode is supposed to show us the psychopathic side to Hanseok, which is why everything went down the way it did. It also showed us Choi Myung Hee's loyalty to Hanseok and also showed that Hanseo can stand up for himself.
Not only that, I think this episode was truly crucial in showing that Vincenzo's achilles heel is Cha Young and if anything were to happen to her, he would never ever be able to live with his guilty conscious. In the episode, he literally says he wants to protect her "virtue" by protecting her innocence. If she gets hurt, it's like he's going to be blaming himself for the rest of his life. It really shows how far he has come from episode 1 of being a brutal killer to him becoming slightly more human.
Why did Vincenzo kill the prosecutor? He’s corrupt and a traitor but everything he did is literally nothing…
He gave the prosecutor an easy death whereas he's humiliating and making the others feel fear before truly killing them. he said he was playing a cat and mouse game with Hanseok so it makes sense.
Why did VC not just take out Hanseok and then untie CY....? It would’ve solved everything ;//
How would he have taken out Hanseok? He had a gun and VC didn't. To top it off, the gun was literally pointed at him the whole time and i'm pretty sure VC's fear was that if he tried to move forward, CY would get the brutal hit if Hanseok decided to pull the trigger. The whole last scene made total sense to me.
corn salad is big mad. what were they thinking when they planned to do that lol? did they think doing that would…
That's what I said. I feel like Choi Myung Hee should've known better like does she think she's above a consigliere from an actual Mafia family? Like it would make more sense to utilize his weakness to get what they want, not get rid of it completely. Now you're basically fighting with a man who has nothing to lose, which is scarier than anything.
The writer amazed me once again, he knows those lovey-dovey moments aren’t suitable for the leads’ characters…
I think they might actually get together by the end of the show though because the pacing of their relationship is quite stable and good. Slowly, I feel like they'll start using their names and Vincenzo might even tell her his Korean name. Like their interactions would be pretty much the same as what they have but I feel like they'll be in a relationship soon.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how good the kiss scene is. First it was the girl who made the first move (Cha…
that was absolutely a REAL KISS!!! you can see vincenzo being shocked BUT THEN HE CLOSES HIS EYES LIKE HE'S LIKE OK I'M GOING TO KISS HER TO THE FULLEST NOW THAT I HAVE THE CHANCE AND THEN YOU SEE CHA YOUNG OPENING HER EYES IN SHOCK BUT THEN CLOSING THEM CAUSE SHE'S LIKE I'M OK WITH THIS OMG I CAN'T AHHHHH I'M SCREAMINGGGGG
Idk at this point tbh Thought she might change sides as well in the beginning of this episode, though the longer…
Sorry, I have no shred of sympathy for OYH. She literally MURDERED a child and now is pretending to be good. Don't forget she's equally as evil as CSJ if not more. CSJ never killed anyone so I guess she has that going for her but obviously hiding her daughter killing someone isn't really all that nice either.
