this drama passed by in a blur of my tears tbh. pretty sure i was crying for most of the second half of the series T_T. i've only ever seen UEE in You're Beautiful where she was the antagonist so this was the complete opposite role and i absolutely loved her. i liked lee seo jin from Soul so this was a yay for me (although he was a little cheesy at times). i skipped through a lot his family drama coz it was kind of obvious for the plot and very annoying (his family pissed me off alot ugh). but the rest of it was fine... well... my favourite was really when they focused on UEE, her daughter, her friend (friend goals tbh) and her husband. so yes i went in looking for a cliche romcom and came out emotionally drained and crying so thank you very much

HA JIWON OMG YES I am completely and utterly in love with her lol at first I didn't realise the girl in Secret Garden and Empress Ki were the same person but when I did... argh she's so good T_T.
But the only reason I was watching Empress Ki was because I found out IM JOO EUN would have a role in it haha... yeah... I watched a 51 ep long period drama (which I don't normally watch) just because Im Joo Eun was goiing to be in a couple of episodes... SHE'S AMAZING and I am so in love with her! LOL. I hope she becomes more popular in the future, seriously. She needs a lead role somewhere.
