i honestly died at how adorable #1 were so like yeah lmao. ji chang wook has such good chemistry with all his female leads so i totally agree but personally my fav is still from back when he did Healer T_T. also i'm so happy for lee joon!? did not know he was dating but that's so awesome they're so cute!
lol in her description the "native name" should be written the other way coz uyghur is read from right-to-left... how do i let the editors know to correct it...?
i love this series so much and i need a season 3 for soooooo many reasons. this is one of those dramas where they could do anything and i would love it all the same. i neeeeed more of these sorts of dramas, these depictions of girls and their friendships, the hilarity and the drama - they're all soooo relatable despite the dramatic exaggerations. i just... love it... so much... please... season 3...
I just watched The Good Wife and holy cow, did not expect her to act so well. I knew her from Roommates and she seemed cool but just wow, loved her in the drama! Looking forward to more from her!
this entire thing was terrible tbh but i love all the main actors so i watched it all #sigh i really hope to see all of them in good dramas soon. nam gung min is great as a villain in that other drama but i feel like he'd be really good at comedy?? i loved kim ji han in empress ki and i've been waiting for a better role for him since. yoo in na is bae and i feel like her acting is underrated
the ost was so not my jam but somehow stood out for me..? i feel like i'm gonna look for some of those songs on youtube? this whole drama was just... i hated it but i enjoyed it. sigh
BEST VILLAIN LADY (right up there with azula and kuvira tbh). i loved k2 and ji changwook is bae but choi yoo jin/song yoon ah was BY FAR the stand out performance and absolute faveeee
at first i dropped it by the first episode because it just wasn't my thing and everyone was really annoying. a year later i had watched some variety shows (including 1n2d) and saw IU in moon lovers, so i decided to give producers another shot. i actually understood the references this time around (which i think is necessary to enjoy the show). and by the end of it i liked and was rooting for every single annoying character in the show (excluding ceo byun) so i would say: success! i tend to dislike shows where i have to "give it a few episodes and it gets really good!" but i really did like this show lol. tbh i haven't really liked kim soohyun or IU since dream high (but she was great in moon lovers!), never got cha taehyun until i watched 2d1n and that movie he did with park boyoung, and this was one of gong hyojin's more annoying characters (i love her though) but by the end of it i ended up embracing and loving the flawed and frustrating characters they all played so i think it was really well done!
honestly i hate how nan gil acts like a "stereotypical dad" like freaking act your age you've never…
ah but i think the thing i hate more than over-used tropes is when someone acts really patronizing and i think that got to me more than anything else lol
honestly i hate how nan gil acts like a "stereotypical dad" like freaking act your age you've never…
ahaha yeah that was mainly coz i like park so dam (and procrastination increases my tolerance levels lol). it was very cliche but the characters tended to be more straightforward rather than letting a key misunderstanding go on for more than 3-4 episodes. and i didn't feel like it was taking itself as seriously? whereas with this... the whole gangster subplot too... idk i guess it just had my least tolerable tropes... ah but i really like all the actors. i literally just watched mask coz of soo ae and it was great!
honestly i hate how nan gil acts like a "stereotypical dad" like freaking act your age you've never…
oh so it's one of those dramas... where the main character has conveniently forgotten someone... and yeah i still dislike the "lying/omitting truths for the sake of a loved one" trope, it's so overdone. i don't think i have enough patience to wait until ep 5-6 to understand why the guy acts this annoying lol
honestly i hate how nan gil acts like a "stereotypical dad" like freaking act your age you've never had a child and this woman is older than you. just because you married her mother (even if it was for love) you've never met her daughter and you have no right to keep information about her own family from her, especially when she's asking outright and she and her mother were close wtf. and presumably he KNOWS she's never had a person she respected as a father (she's still traumatised from her dad leaving them!) so why the hell is he forcing her to behave like he's her dad? they're literal strangers. he expects her to accept him without giving any explanation about himself? his age, where he's from, his past - nothing. he tells her a little about how he met her mother and that's it? he expects her to not worry or try to find out about her family and to rely on him when she knows nothing about him? he expects her to treat him like family? families don't hide important information from each other. maybe a parent would hide some problems from a 10 year old but not a 30-something year old career woman wtf. I'm dropping this drama honestly the relationships are so annoying even though I really like all the actors
best thing i've watched this year tbh and this year has been full of great dramas!
i loved the characters and i loved the friendships like... like you just don't see female friendships as the main focus in anything, western or eastern, and even if there is it's never as relatable as this! (or some guy always gets in the way and it ends up being a romance-focused thing with the friends being good helpers or something). argh! loved it!

Yeah Mask is pretty sad to put it mildly :'D
