Agreed with everything you said! I dropped the drama at about Ep 4. Was just getting too boring. And the leads have no chemistry in my opinion. Ever since I've expanded to Cdramas, a Kdrama has to be really good to hold my attention. I'm also watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo & Alchemy of Souls, Compared to those, this one was dragging way too much.
Japan is SERVING this these BL's lately. I mean, they have amazing mangas to make adaptations from, plenty really, but for them to be doing such a good job at adapting them?? Props to them. I'm enjoying this as much as I enjoy reading the manga. The vibe is great, slow-paced, smooth dialogues, great actors, and just an overall great production. It just leaves you with this fluffy feeling, And of course, makes you feel single AF Lol. Can't wait for more episodes<3
I've been disappointed by shows before but I'm heartbroken about how disappointed I am with this one! I was SO excited from watching the special. It was so good that it got me excited and I kept watching all their clips on YT & TikTok. But what in the world?. After watching the 1st episode, I was literally skipping almost every scene. Literally, nothing was of substance. The whole vibe of the show doesn't seem like a continuation of the special, but a whole new (very low budget) show.
2nd episode wasn't any better. Nothing makes sense, why would they bring Nine's ex back into the picture? Making it more complicated with a love square. The last bit of Nine & Daonuea going at it was awkward and cringe with that bad music choice. Fire whoever allowed that. It's almost like they replaced the screenwriter, director, heck the whole staff, from the ones they used for the special or something.
Sorry, I don't usually rant but this was one of the shows I looked forward to the most this year and I'm so damn disappointed in the whole direction (or lack thereof) of it. Sucks cause the leads have amazing chemistry, they'd be better off doing a different series with a whole different production. If you're a fan of the special and haven't watched this, save yourself the disappointment, just pretend the ending of the special was the end, period Lol.
Idk why I thought this series would be cute at the beginning but here we are. It's literally going nowhere. I mean, honestly, I wasn't expecting much because I was NOT a fan of Why R U?, but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. But nope, literally went to sh*t lol. Nothing makes sense and getting through the episodes is a drag. I've never been a fan of Max & Nat either, they've always been dry AF in the chemistry department to me and they're still the same in this series. I mostly enjoy the Syn and Nuea moments, they had potential and should've been given more screentime. Oh well, glad to know others are feeling the same as I am about this series!

There have been series far worse that have gotten good reviews (won't name them). This drama is hilarious, heartwarming, and thought invoking. Silly sure, but it's more on the adorable side. I really liked it! Some didn't like the CGI but I actually loved it, some scenes were so beautiful that I got goosebumps! It was one of my favorite cdramas of last year!
Finallyyy a good Chinese drama LOL. I was having issues getting into a Chinese drama since Ancient Love Poetry but this one had me hooked from the 1st ep! And it's not just the amazing cast, the storyline is paced very well, and the fight scenes are awesome! Prob my favorite drama from China this year so far. Depending on the ending if it stays that way of course Lol. I loved Zhao Lu Si in The Long Ballad so I had high expectations for her role here and she's not disappointing. Cute and fierce! Loving the chemistry between her and Yang Yang too, they look good together. 40 Eps seem short to me, a drama this good could've run for 60 Eps and I wouldn't have been mad! lol
I read the managa and the 1st EP did not disappoint!! Just as cute as in the manga LOl and they did well choosing Sota to play Fukuhara, he did an amazing job in the 1st EP! I still wish we got longer BL jap dramas since 8 eps fly by but I'll take what I can get!

Yess! Max & Tul's chemistry can't be beat! It helps that they're both so damn handsome LOL. Off/Gun is def worth checking out! Their first project together was "Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey" but my fave works of theirs are "Theory of Love" and most recently "Not me" which is hands down my fave Thai BL of this year so far!. I was waiting for KinnPorsche for everr! So far so good. I can't wait for more EPs so we can see just how good they are together!👀
