Right from the beginning Ms. Perfect says hop in we're gonna get some milkshakes and fries at the corner, just drives the car off the cliff, winks at you in the rearview and paraglides over a volcano to a puppy contest in a butchershop. This show has done a bunch of twists and set ups by the end of episode 5 of 20 what other shows do in episdoe 13 of 16, you know when they need this one crazy thing to happen to keep things rolling. I won't be surprised if the story starts doing wheelies in the schoolyard. This show is Makjang and satire and self-referential and a parody and still takes itself seriously, everyone is knowingly playing over the top but the skilled acting by Go So Young and Cho Yeo Jung is on point of what the story demands. Wherever it will take me, however they want to top what they did so far, I'm in for the ride.

I like the original Familiar Wife more than the remake Shitteru Waifu and more than Go Back Couple. If someone have not seen any of those, I'd always recommend Familiar Wife for the good pacing, honest story with realistic relationships and humor. It has the better chemistry even for second and third couple in my opinion. If you have seen 2/3, doesn't matter which, the story will become repetetive even though there are a few eminent differences, so you might consider to watch some other fresh shows first.
