A fine film whose beautiful aesthetics clearly illustrate how the protagonist becomes more dissociative due to her illness and at the same time more approachable for the viewer. I enjoyed the film a lot except for the last 30 minutes. From there I got the feeling they didn't know how to finish a good idea and choosed the more generic and unnecessarily cheesy path. Ah and the inefficient and chaotic way in which Jung Jae Kwang cleaned the windows in the beginning made me miss "Pieta in the Toilet", I remember Yojiro Noda actually had a knack for window cleaning. Still I think I may watch Vertigo sometime again for the atmosphere, especially for Chun Woo Hee excellent acting who carries this movie.
This show is amazing! Casual oddity and a prosaic look on a morbid project by somewhat clever dimwits in a dry presentation loaded with dark humor in every scene. The Duo reminds me of "Schotty" from the excellent german TV-show "Der Tatortreiniger" (Crime Scene Cleaner), only looked at from the other side of the food chain.
Busy streets with curious people of all age talking about their situation, sharing sorrows, wisdom and the joys of everyday life. Two funny hosts find themselves in odd situations, eat lunch together, distribute luck to the people they meet, also general knowledge and a good time to the viewer. This was the perfect show to watch during lockdown, when I wanted to go outside, having a nice talk with a stranger but couldn't be in South Korea. Some highlights among many are: Yellow shirt guy at the beginning of episode 3. The old ladys from the hair salon in episode 5 at minute 31:00. The art gallery manager in episode 8 at minute 39:20 The woman in love at the beginning of episode 11. To anyone considering to watch the show; Look into the finale in episode 12 at minute 1:33:50 and you'll know what to expect and still have many more joyful moments to discover!
