Which banquet episode? I can’t remember if there’s any banquet after LBY’s revenge. When HBY is exiled to…
Yes! This was what I was wondering, I didn’t see Ah Qi throughout the timeskip and post-timeskip yet so I wasn’t sure I missed something important mentioned. Thank you!
You're not the only one actually, lol. I saw a Douyin video of a crying scene and it was horrible... So I came…
When did I say she looked ugly when she cried? You're putting words into my mouth. I said the crying scene was horrible because she was unable to cry and the way she portrayed the scene. Have you even see the crying scene? Do you know what drama I am referring to?
Versatile actress means she can adapt and perform well in various of situations. So she could be a good actor in Yanxi Palace but a horrible actor in another drama.
That's not a swastika. You should read this. It explains what the symbol that appears on Xirui's headdress is…
There's many misunderstanding between languages, and so it's good you asked at least. For example in Chinese "Ne ga" (that) and Korean "Ne ga" (me) sounds very similar to the N word. Or how the F word sounds like "Phat" (Buddha) in Vietnamese. It's a little unfair for other people to work around their own language/culture. I wish more people try to be more understanding about it, instead of judging others without understanding.
So many people knows this drama was delayed because of Gao Yunxiang's sex assault scandal and Fan Bing Bing's tax evasion. The drama was shelved back then and they were going to change the leads. Now, GYX was announced not guilty, and FBB is returning from her hiatus. A few months ago documents surfaced where Youku bought the show with the original actors, but no official news. The licenses was announced recently, but there's no new updates on the show. Hopefully it's release by the end of this year or next year though (:
Was Rong Zhi able able to remember the past? As for Chuyu, was it only a glimpse or was she really able to remember…
I know, I really liked it up until episode 13. you Zheng sometimes messes up the drama, like is one. I'm definitely going to read the book because of this though. I'm going to pretend that it ended at episode 13 and there was no season two :)

I don't think so. To be honest, the first half of the drama followed the book very well. Up until the fallout where she thought he died. Then there was the memory loss, but instead of following the book Yu Zheng created a spin-off of his own continuation. So he didn't really have to or need to make them remember anything. Because the first few episodes are no longer the storyline. It had so much potential too.
Anyone knows if this drama has aired already? Viki has a channel for it. https://www.viki.com/tv/27902c-beauty-private-kitchen?q=Beauty%20Private%20Kitchen
This drama finished filming but unfortunately it has yet to have a broadcasting date. People are hoping that it would come out this year, but most likely it's going to be pushed back to 2017 from what it seems... but it has not been released as of today :/
no... it might be because this drama has been done since 2013... I was watching for three years for them to broadcast this *Cries*. But if you ever go drama-hunting like me, you might recognize it on Dramawiki as "Ji Mo Kong Ting Chun Yu Wan".
The trailer has been available for a long time too
is there a good ending? I really want to watch this, but i don't want to watch it all the way to the end and get…
Okay, this drama is based off of the novel. So technically, right now, there is an ending. From what I read, this novel had about 3-4 endings. The first one was tragic, but after it was released, they added an epilogue to make it better. Then they made a spin-off/different ending. And lastly, they had a comic relief ending--it's not a serious ending, but like a funny one.
So, it just depends on the writer. I understand what you mean though, because I went through Prince of Lan Ling Wang and WTF was that ending?!!?! I was so depressed and hungover through the ending even though there was foreshadow :(

Overall, I think it's because she's not a versatile actor, but Legend of Haolan + Yanxi Palace was pretty good.
