the reason i'm having such a hard time with shin's past is cuz i cannot even dare to think of not living my dream that i was so close to achieving. to me, my dream means everything and if it's ripped away from me, idk if i'll ever recover. ik that shin's trauma is deeper than just him losing his dream, it's also the abandonment he felt after saint disappeared but i've already been through that...a friend betraying me and then ghosting me so i understand his pain but i cannot imagine my life if my dreams get crushed.
