okay i've processed my thoughts and am finally here to write my review for ep 8:
this was the first episode where i didn't cry out of sadness. i did get a lil teary during the flashback scene. cable and his mum's scene was definitely sad but i really need more context about what happened with his brother copter.
i love chadjen and chingching our president and vice president of saintshin nation!! the way they were scolding shin was so hilarious 😭
the flashback!! let's talk about it-
shin gave up his savings for saint...do you guys also think saint decided to do the spicy noodles challenge w shin to intentionally lose and then gift shin the cleats?? 😭
do u think he will have the courage to gift the cleats to shin now that shin can't play soccer anymore because of saint?? how will this play out? 😭
"i'm older than you, call me big bro" not saint getting chills at the thought of calling shin brother 😭
"what am i to you then?" why did it take saint so long to think? in my delulu nation, i believe that the was thinking "BOYFRIEND" ok bye 🫢
i love how shin koala hugs saint whenever he can 😭 i can't wait for it to happen in the present too!! their smiles are so precious. they were so happy together 💔

jokes apart tho, the way they stare each other, the way they think about each other constantly is just so heartwarming. tbh shin is so strong! i can see that he is trying to move on and even he can see that being with saint makes him happy but some wounds goes deeper than what makes you happy or sad, it takes time to heal but i'm so glad to see him trying!
skynani you guys have officially made it into my top 10 fav gmmtv actors list. idk where they're seated but they're up there alright!!

i don't trust gmmtv so i'm not gonna get my hopes high for skynani bl. i've decided to be satisfied w high school frenemy (which is a lot in my opinion). i don't wanna be heartbroken. i will cherish saintshin forever!
when they classify a"bromance" in these type of dramas but hate on people for comparing what the two male leads…

it's why if you see my favourite shows list, you'll see chinese censored bls and bromances because the love expressed through eyes, a few words and actions is wayyy bigger than any physical intimacy shown in 80% of the bl dramas. trope that has the yearning of heart, mutual understanding, longing stares, and to die for each other don't need kiss or any nc scenes to prove to us that they're in love with each other!
i tend to get so defensive when it comes to this series 😭 i am literally attached to many characters on a deeper level where i can understand a lot of their actions already! maybe because i have watched the gifted, home school, weak hero class 1, etc and that's why i went in with an open minded approach towards every character.

this genre is popular because this genre is a lot more realistic than any other. there are gangs, mobs, mafias like this all over thailand and many other countries and yes, even in schools. extortion of money is a big thing bullies do that's why showcasing these things reaches the audience on a deeper level.

i have an autistic family member who's on a similar level as chadjen and i can assure you that mark is doing a wonderful job. it might not resonate with you but he's getting the job done perfectly. professionals have confirmed it.
kay has a very powerful aura and that's why he's cast as the "villain-ish" character in most of his series. his expressions are very intimidating despite of his height.

me neither but it's obvious that shin still feels for saint but his conscience keeps reminding him that nothing can redeem saint. as much as i would never forgive saint if it were me, i do believe in second chances(in certain scenarios) and i do believe that people can change.
shin has been acting out intentionally so that he will get expelled. i noticed this from the previous episode itself. the reason behind it is so sad tho. he doesn't want to keep seeing saint trying to make up to him because he's scared he'll give in. his heart wants to give in but his conscience cannot.
the back story- i expected it but it still broke my heart hearing shin's agonizing screams and saint's eyes that looked so evil. i just can't believe that he's the same guy who has been giving shin the puppy eyes in the flashbacks. he didn't want shin to leave and because of that he ended up hurting him so badly that it ruined shin's future.
"just a boy" playing in the bgm when saint was yearning for shin from afar 😭
"i just want to see your face" - saint if this is bromance then fck any bl drama out there, this is true love 😭

"i'm giving up on the chance to be with you" naurrr 😭 why is this series breaking my heart left and right?? the most important thing to saint is shin and he's willing to give up on pursuing him for shin's sake 😭 the way shin's face fell when he heard it.
skynani have been K!LLING IT!! i'm in absolute awe every time any one of them is on screen.
this series has easily made it into my all time favourite series list. can't wait for tonight's episode.
saint broke shin's leg and my heart at the same time. 💔 i already figured that this would happen but watching it with my own eyes and shin's scream of pain broke me.
