The thing is, Junghwan wasn't a second lead. He was a main lead but he messed it up because he took no action. The show told the viewers that if they wanted to live a life worth of a protagonist, they had to act accordingly. Which is what Taek did. So he became the male interest. Reply 1988 is a case where the second lead wins. And he totally deserved it. That drama was the happiest thing to me because I thought I was done for, shipping Taek and thinking he'd have his heart broken, so the ending was very fullfilling. Reply 1994 was another story, I can't believe Chilbong didn't get the girl...
I loved this so much, cried so much and now I can't move on QAQ I just finished the last episode... omg... no spoilers ofc... I wish there was a second season... but at the same time idk how it'd make justice to this one... it's probably just me longing for more of this story... definitely going to re-watch <3 I loved this way too much, I hadn't watched a drama this good in quite a while. Recommend to everyone, as long as they don't have to study because if they do it's a bad idea to start watching, each episode asks for the other and it's impossible not to click on it.
I'm only on ep 8 of this drama and I'm loving it so much... but Jin Joo is soooo getting on my nerves!! In this ep Cheol Soo appeared for the first time and it seems like they might have something going on in the future... but thinking of that makes me wanna shout at him to run for his life!!! Cuz I mean... she's seriously intolerable, always nagging aiissshhhh!!! Everytime she opens her mouth, nothing good comes out of it. And I recogn that she also suffers and stuff... But gosh who stands her?? But I have a question, will I come to like her in the future? Because atm I can barely look at her without feeling like throwing my pc away...
Couldn't finish Reply 1994 because Chilbong was just perfect and she wa obviously going to end up with Trash... it was too painful. Who Are You: School 2015 was sooooo disappointing, I was so not expecting that and it didn't even make sense, Tae Kwang deserves much better QwQ I was really happy about the endings of Reply 1988 and Dream High, they were the couples I supported *w* Haven't watched The Producer yet, let's see how it goes.
I need to point out that the actor Lee Sang Yeob was freakin amazing in his role as the plastic bad psycho... like... I'm still creeped out by him after all the series' episodes... I'm one of those people who felt sympathy because of his childhood but damn those three episodes (9-11) and his face are just burnt onto my mind and I'm having trouble leaving my room just because it's dark in the hall. But yeah... once I get over this I hope to watch more of his acting in other dramas... and I really hope he gets good roles in the future.
I loved this from beginning to end! Both main and second leads were just superb! Wow. I can't believe it's over even though the ending was so perfect x3
