I don't know how I managed to finish it

I'm gonna start off by saying that if you liked this, good for you. I didn't. Opinions differ. I also don't hate the actors at all, this is no hate to anyone involved in the show or anything.
This is my brutally honest opinion, so be warned.

That being said, I'm actually surprised I managed to finish it. I tried to give it a chance, but I hated every episode.

The plot is like a corny ripoff Twilight; but hey, I like Twilight, so that shouldn't be a problem right?
Wrong. It was just bad. The story was bad, holy mother of god the cgi was BAD, and I couldn't tell if the acting was bad or the characters were just impossibly annoying. The main character Tong pissed me off the entire time, and Mark was lowkey a weirdo. I really just couldn't get into it. The plot point where Mark only caught feelings for Tong because he tasted his blood also never sat right with me.
The chemistry was also nowhere to be found.

I did like the idea of the plot, it seemed pretty interesting if not just a tad cliché, but it was executed horribly.
I also liked the antagonist plot twist. I didn't really see that coming originally. But that might just be because I really wasn't into it.
Lastly, the ending was quite nice. That final sequence was pretty cool and well done compared to the rest of this show. The standards aren't high.

All that being said, if you want an actual good vampire bl, watch ReVamp or My Secret Vampire. Both aren't the best, but they're much better than this disaster.

An erotic bl without any NC needed

God, this is truly a masterpiece. It's not just a bl, it's so much more than that. It is good queer representation, shown through Jira's fashion sense, slang, and mannerisms. It is art and critique on generative ai, and truly touches on what art really means. No character in this is perfect, they're all messed up in their own way. And that's what makes this bl so powerful; its realism. It's raw, it's real, it's erotic with no NC scenes needed. It's sweet at times. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing, all one huge red flag disguised as a normal love triangle. It's truly everything.

All the actors did such a great job. The chemistry is through the ROOF.
Jira looks innocent, but secretly seems to know what he's doing. He has strong morals and is confident in who he is. His art really reflects that. I wish I had one of his pieces in my own home! He's complex, but sincere. He's definitely made his fair share of mistakes, but still I'm rooting for his happy end, no matter who that may be with.

Koh seems cold and calculated, but deep within, he's more soft than he'd like to admit. He seems to really like Jira, but sadly, he likes his work more. Morality and consistency definitely aren't his strongest suits, which causes many problems between him and Jira. There's definitely some character development needed for those two to actually work out. Please, Jira, knock some sense into the guy 🥹

Pheem seems like a good guy; a green flag, even. But he's really not. He's a f*ckboy, if you will. He's manipulative and calculating, pretending to be someone he's not just to get with Jira, which really shows how he's definitely not used to being rejected. He's not used to feeling the way he does at all. He's a sore loser, and can get quite aggressive at times. He's definitely not scared of confrontation, and he's actually quite an honest person.

Dew is such a great actor. I really feel his emotions through the screen. His chemistry with Gun is wonderful, and I still find myself genuinely rooting for them. The love triangle is confusing in a perfect way, Jira is stuck between the option that seems right, and the option that *feels* right, even though it'll probably go wrong sooner or later.

The cinematography in this is gorgeous. Almost every scene has me looking in awe. It's such a gorgeous series.

The music choices are also amazing. Every song perfectly fits the scene and the overall vibe of this series. It never disappoints.

I really wish gmmtv would do more bls like this. The genuine care and attention that seems to have gone into the writing and filming is immaculate. I need a second season already, Off, Gun, and Dew are just that amazing. Keep up the great work <3

Why do people hate this so much??

As soon as MarkOhm were announced as a pairing, I was immediately so excited for this. And they didn't disappoint!! I watched this series while it was ongoing, and found myself excited for the next episode to air every week.

This series is sickeningly sweet, and cringey in all the good ways. It had me rolling on the floor laughing every episode. I do get why some people may not like this though, it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Mark and Ohm's chemistry is wonderful, and they work so well together. They're comedic gold together, and they're both so charming but silly. I think they were the perfect casting for this.

This show wasn't very serious, apart from Sant's trauma side plot, but it still worked very well. The plot is simple but great. I also found myself loving all the side couples!
The sudden introduction of Jimmy was an amazing surprise, and Sea's cameo in the end was so cute!! This is the type of series you just sit down for, turn your brain off, and enjoy.

The music was also amazing. The OST had me jamming everytime, and the music in the series itself was also great. The sound effects were also perfect.

Finally, the finale was very sweet. It had a great ending, and I'm so excited to see more of MarkOhm and the others.

Not extraordinary, but it's a nice watch.

Not a lot happens in the first few episodes. I was kind of worried it'd be boring or that we wouldn't get much development until the finale. Luckily, that wasn't the case, and in the end they were a great couple. They were quite cute really. The plot was quite nice, and I did find myself wanting to continue after all.

There were only a few things that put me off. First is how stalkerish Taishin is: he kind of idolised Takara in a way that was quite uncomfortable. Luckily, there was proper character development on that.
Takara was also super nonchalant. I can almost count the amount of times he smiled on one hand.
The drama was also a little vague: I can't exactly tell when Takara actually started liking Taishin...

Overall it was a nice watch, but nothing fancy. If you like the plot and the "popular nonchalant guy x shy awkward guy" trope, I'd for sure recommend it :))

A bl about cheating..?

Let's start off by saying I do not condone cheating under any circumstances 🥲

That being said, this bl is a masterpiece. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It's raw, real, and I felt the emotions through the screen. It explores complex relationships and real relationship issues.

I loved the complexity of Sei's relationship with his "friend". The explanation at the end was realistic, and it showed that sometimes, for whatever reason that may be, relationships just don't work out the way you wanted them to.

As for the other guy (my apologies, I forgot his name already), I also loved the realness of his relationship with his girlfriend. It showed real issues a relationship can encounter, and that sometimes, it just doesn't work out.

My only complaint is the fact that there was no communication in either relationships, when the problem could've easily been resolved with a long talk. Cheating is never the answer. But I get it, it's for the plot ;)

I also wish we'd gotten more epilogue. I absolutely love the main couple, and I wish we'd gotten to see more of their relationship. But the story did end at a good time. This drama was short, but it said everything that needed to be said.

I'd definitely watch this again!
