I am struggling to finish this drama, it is so annoying. I almost just quit after episode 5. The FL is seriously the weakest minded and has no character development at all. She is the type of person that would just let anything happen and would put up zero fight to protect anything remotely important to her. Every milestone in this show, she has had to be pushed by someone else to do something, she never makes any decision for herself. The acting is pretty bad/cringe by a lot of the main characters, but Tae-o is really charming and cute to watch; I feel like he saves the show. The plot is the weakest and most unrealistic I've ever watched. Nothing makes sense or makes me go "hm, I guess I understand how they would think/feel that way". I really liked the start of the show and wish they dove more into the Japanese-Korean dating and learning about each other, but everything else in this show is so aggravating to watch. I'm sorry for being harsh, it's just that it makes me so annoyed how this had so much potential and was executed so poorly.
