❤️ A Love Story That Made Me Feel Everything
I honestly didn’t expect The Early Spring to affect me this much. This is one of those dramas where I became completely emotionally invested in the characters. Luke and Flora’s relationship felt so real to me—not because it was perfect, but because it wasn’t. They had misunderstandings, jealousy, insecurity and moments where they struggled to understand what the other person needed. But underneath all of that was a deep love and a genuine desire to build a life together.
What I loved most was the way their feelings were often shown through small gestures, looks and silences rather than endless declarations of love. Sometimes a single expression from Luke said more than a whole conversation. ❤️
I also really appreciated Flora as a character. She is strong and independent, but the drama doesn’t confuse strength with being emotionless. She is sensitive, vulnerable and sometimes afraid—and that makes her strength feel much more human. I loved watching her grow both personally and professionally and eventually build a life and career of her own.
And Luke… 😅 What can I say? He could be incredibly frustrating, especially with his jealousy, but he was also patient, caring, loyal and completely in love with her. Watching him learn that loving Flora also meant giving her space and trusting her was one of my favorite parts of their story.
The cinematography and visual storytelling were beautiful. There are so many scenes that stayed with me, from the typewriter and the handwritten words to the little everyday moments between Luke and Flora. The symbolism throughout the drama made the final episodes especially emotional.
And that ending… ❤️
The proposal, their friends being there, the ring, the L necklace and all the callbacks to their story made me incredibly emotional. It felt like the drama was closing a circle that had been built over the entire series.
I laughed, I got frustrated, I cried (more than once 😭), and by the end I genuinely didn’t want to say goodbye to these characters.
A beautiful, warm and emotional love story that I will remember for a long time.
Definitely one of my favorite dramas of 2026. ❤️

A story that feels like living alongside the characters
The First Frost is one of those dramas that you don’t simply watch — you slowly become part of the characters’ lives. What touched me most is how carefully the characters are written. This is so much more than a love story. We get to see where Wen Yifan’s fears and insecurities come from, how deeply her past has shaped her, and how difficult it is for her to believe that she is allowed to be loved and protected. Watching her slowly learn to trust, to be vulnerable and, most importantly, to choose herself and her own happiness was incredibly moving.
And then there is Sang Yan. ❤️ What a man.
Not because he is perfect, but because his love is shown through everything he does. He waits. He notices. He stays. He gives her space while making sure she knows she doesn’t have to carry everything alone. His love never feels like he is trying to “save” her. He simply walks beside her and keeps choosing her.
Their relationship feels incredibly genuine because it grows through the little things — the looks, the silences, the gestures and all the things left unsaid. Sometimes those moments say much more than a grand declaration of love ever could.
I also loved how the drama explores family, trauma, trust and boundaries. Yifan’s journey isn’t simply about finding someone who loves her. It is about learning that she doesn’t have to run anymore. That she is allowed to stay. That she is allowed to lean on someone without losing herself.
And the romance… 🥹❤️
The proposal especially touched me because it wasn’t some perfectly polished, picture-perfect moment. It felt vulnerable, imperfect and completely from the heart. Exactly like their relationship.
The cinematography, the OST and the pacing add so much to the emotional atmosphere. The drama takes its time, and that made me feel as if I wasn’t just watching their story — I was walking alongside them through their lives.
I laughed, cried, got angry, fell in love with these characters and definitely cried more than once. 😂😭
For me, The First Frost is ultimately a story about finding each other, losing each other, finding your way back, and learning that love can also mean being allowed to stay.
A beautiful, deeply emotional drama that will stay with me for a long time. ❤️
