I guess you could try to justify the girl stressing out when he's gone because it is a dangerous situation going on and since she can't go through the gates on her own she has no info and no way of finding out if the man is alright. He could be dead already and she wouldn't know. So there's that.
I think my biggest problem with this drama is the forced romance. Because the 'love' started out of nowhere and is based on nothing. One day the FL hates the dude the other she's madly in love. The dude fell for her just because he went to sleep with her picture next to his bed for 20+ years. Also.. I'm missing chemistry in general. I had high hopes for Kim Go Eun but her character is just flat. And Lee Min Ho is basically hibernating. Woo Do Hwan on the other hand. brother you deserve an award.

Not sure why you should be so fed up. Everyone has their right to express their opinion on things and it was a bold fact that her kissing scenes sucked, bad. They are actors they should learn how to put personal feeling aside otherwise it's just unprofessional.

Taste is an interesting thing. Cultural aspects of course also has a big influence and overall life experience. Some people like more easy watch they don't really focus on details. If what they expected from the drama was romance I don't think they would delve very deeply into political aspects of the drama. I'm actually really enjoying A Piece of Your Mind and I guess I was expecting something very different from this drama and ended up disappointed.
I feel like I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing. I had high hopes for this drama but I'm kinda disappointed. I'm not really fond of the main lead characters. It feels like Seo Kang Joon never recovered from his emotionless robot character. Also I see very little chemistry and the whole drama feels like its dragging. I'm currently on ep9 so I just hope that it gets better somehow even though I almost dropped it a couple of times already. The mystery behind weird behaviors is still intriguing but will it live up to my expectations...
