On the third episode and I have to say, this had so so much potential to be something supremely awesome, but apart from Choi JinHyuk and Hwang BoRa(+ the guy who plays her husband) who chose the rest of the cast? Coz hell the acting is lame. The FL looks like a pale shadow of Lee SunBin(who would've carried off the FL role a whole lot better tbh)5. To make a drama strong, the supporting cast needs to be equally good. Oh well... Just my opinion.
Went from hilarious to ridiculous, but atleast the whole concept of competing leads was worth a watch. Recommended if you wanna see something light and keep your brain aside for like two hours.
This drama is to be treated like a three course meal - From Ep 1 to 8 were the appetizers/starters, with all the comedic hi-jinks, Ep 8 to 12 was the main course being served (the backstory of the main leads that came to a dramatic conclusion), while Ep 13 to 16 served as the dessert. A lot of the comments have spoken about how the drama should have been shortened to 12 episodes. But for those who were looking for a carefree watch to offset the heaviness of the climax at around episode 12, this will be well worth your time. Keeping in mind this was an office romance, the drama has explored not only the main lead story, but also the progression of multiple secondary couples that formed along the way. For those who don't want to enjoy dessert/are short on time, there's always the fast-forward button :)
What worked for me in this drama was - - No vamps/evil peeps/bitchiness - All characters showed maturity and character growth - Really good acting from ALL the supporting actors - Likeable leads - Good comic timing - Traumatic scenes handled without unnecessary blood/gore (If you've watched Memorist and consider that as your baseline of sheer psychological trauma, then this is mere 10% of that)
On episode 5-6 and ready to drop it coz its obvious from the way the exes have been introduced that the latter won't be leaving the mains anytime soon. Sigh. Way to ruin an otherwise promising drama.
On episode 4 so far but even a dark silhouette couldn't hide the fact that they had a bottle of Davidoff's Cool Water perfume kept on their "magical potions" display in the storage scene LMAO!!!!!
When she got up after the bite and started reciting the exact events of the Sewol Ferry disaster, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Do not watch if you're still triggered by the disaster, please.
I think a lot of comments are voicing my opinion about the last episode. They really almost copy pasted Goblin's ending onto this one, thus ruining the originality and brilliance this drama could have been. And honestly though, why give Kim SooHyun such a badass entrance only to get him to recite a couple of deadbeat lines in a subdued voice? If they announce a Season 2, I hope they keep stuff original.
I had been putting off watching this movie for 7 years now... but as they say, when the time is right... And it turns out, I was mentally in the best place to whole-heartedly watch and enjoy this rollercoaster of a movie. The acting is brilliant, the police related scenes could have used some tweaking, the twist at the end was mindblowing, a really good (and, according to me, successful) effort of compressing a complex storyline into a movie.

This is definitely worth a watch. 8/10 from me.
