You keep insulting me and you don't even try to listen to me. This conversation is pure nonsense. You have absolutely no right to tell me what I should have done and to underestimate the time I put into my work.

I repeat ONCE AGAIN : all I ever said is that what I consider decent is for the gifs to be credited when they are usued outside their original source and YOU got all upset !

Plus, it seems like you don't know how these things work... " Ain't nobody got time to spend hours tracking the original source of a simple gif" ... are you serious ?? All I had to do to find them was a simple search on Tumblr, it took about 10-20 secs for each of them.

And anyway, you're not the author, you hadn't had your gifs used here and as you said, you don't represent this website (even tho you 're an editor and not a simple member like me). To put it simply, you 're irrelevant.

So why don't you chill ? Seriously.

Who said anything about art ? All I said is that - believe it or not - gifs take TIME and effort to be made and all we ask if they use them without our knowledge is credits, nothing more.

Most ppl who use tumblr gifs in their youtube videos, instagram, etc give credits to the owners. It's not something new, it's not something difficult. I repeat, it's not obligatory but it's definitely the decent thing to do. It doesn't have to be "rocket science" in order to be respected.

Companies are pleased with them because they think of them as advertisment, but YOU are bothered and keep attacking me ?

Also, I see that you are not a member of this site, but an editor. If you represent the site in any way, I hope you know that the way you react is at least OFFENSIVE towards a member of this site (my favourite parts were when you called me "delusional" and "butthurt " ) Sorry for breaking this to you but you are simply RUDE.

Since WHEN gif-makers have to take permission to edit stuff ?? Even short videos under 30secs with sound are legal enough. And except from that, do you even now that gifs and screencaps are considered by most companies / agencies as good AND free advertisement ??

Everything we do, we do it because of our love for this fandom. All we ask is for our work not to be stolen or used without our knowledge. How come that YOU react so negatively ?

I'm sorry for saying this, but it's not the best thing when I see my gifs outside tumblr. Except from mine (it's the Miura Haruma one), I've seen all of them on tumblr too and while you are not obligated to credit the owners, I think it's the appropriate thing to do considering the time and effort we put into them. Thanks !
