this doesn't matter that much but it does come to mind;
how is it that every single one of the parents want their child to be a singer? didn't know the soprano business was booming that much lmao
also, there's probably more than one good music school in korea... not to mention you don't have to go to an elite school to become a successful artist
idk where else to put this LOL, just my overwhelming opinionsTRUE BEAUTY THE WEBTOON: Back when I was a highschooler,…
the actual title of the story is [a female] goddess's arrival
(tried my best to translate without the actual meaning lost)
it is such in korean, japanese and chinese, only its english name is true beauty. i think the message of this story (if any) is quite weak lol but thats just my opinion
it's a bit ridiculous but moving past that, i found it rather enjoyable. the FL is not that annoying after a while, and the leads are actually pretty cute tgt!
also, the summary here is misleading. basically its just the typical hardworking girl meets strict boss, the rest of the characters dont really matter
tldr recommended if you're really really bored and just want to watch anything super lighthearted
while i don't usually watch makjangs, i enjoyed this a whole lot!
as much as i love his character, lee hyuk's ending was well-deserved. he was a victim of his abusive parents and lived an ill-fated life so I'm glad he got relieved of his suffering in the end.
final thoughts; its entertaining, amazing actors!! (but not for picky viewers)
as a female watcher, i like projecting my ideals onto FLs so i really dislike doormat or boring FLs !! and what's with all the good looking guys chasing after these kind of girls lmao ;;;;
the episodes are so short yet feel so long lmao im sorry but this is kinda boring ... if dahee was a spice she'd be flour.
jokes aside, i understand she has a really strict mom but is that all? she has no will, ambitions or even hobbies at age 19... her circumstances define her personality, that's not at all how to build an interesting character
hyunjin on the other hand, not sure why he likes her. i get that they're in similar situations and he sympathises her but then... (again) that's all?
considering I've barely watched half, i shouldn't be so critical but as a big fan of wooseok im just really disappointed and feel bad
i rewatched this and... as cliche as it can get, it's a guilty pleasure for me! LOL honestly may not be objectively good or whatever, but for what it is, its entertaining :) the leads have great chemistry, they're really cute together <3

even so i don't think she fabricated her own daughter's kidnapping but then again who knows at this point
ngl it's really embarrassing to hear kurosawa's thoughts... how does he act all normal with all those thoughts in his head?? lmaoo

she's so empowering and enjoyable to watch; strong, ambitious, not letting anyone step over her but ofc, kind and a little naive xD
