I feel like viewers need to assess whether they're watching for the plot or for the casts. I know that both are valid but if you're watching for the plot you could totally understand that they are not actually changing the female lead. Technically, that's her body, that's her, she just needed to shift her soul, but if she would be given a chance to go back to her own body of course she would want that.
