The crew received a lot of criticism from the neighborhood because they're noisy and and they're smoking. They never addressed issues, only announced yu shuxin to tie her up and used her as a shield. Even now they interact with the male lead and his fans but can't even comment nor like ysx posts.
I can list down a lot of their offenses.
But of course maybe it is all for the best of yu shuxin. Highlighting the male lead when yu shuxin brings the audience, if course it's all for the best. Adding bl scene so they can save it in case the cp doesn't work, it's all for the best. Tweaking the script to make jiang mu a love-brained girl, it's all for the best.

Cdramas don't follow age from the novel because ot censorship. They might have changed the age to early 20s. Same with yyxh, ling miao miao and musheng was supposed to be students (16-17) but they changed it into working adults.
