even though I guessed the ending with thatthep and tanthai from the first episode, this was still a total blast and I LOVED the chemistry between jamfilm. literally running to watch khun chai next because I need more. also nawin is officially the standard for comedic villains. I don’t normally like slapstick comedy but the actor nat gave an outstanding performance lol. for a character with so little screen time, nawin is one of the most distinct characters of any BL series that I’ve ever seen (which is frankly a LOT) 😂
oh, and thank you loa for giving us so much shirtless jam in tight jeans 🙏🏻
This was FANTASTIC. I just thought the coach Tuan business was kind of lame. He seemed like a very 2D villain for much of the show, but I was sort of pleasantly surprised when he got a redemption. In fact, I’m not sure what happened with him. Can we call it a redemption? More like he went from evil to bad. I didn’t really understand that part.
Other than that, I liked every single character. Fluke was my favorite team member. Her support for Tupfah and Thorn was very sweet. I liked the pep talk she gave Fah that helped him realize his feelings.
I was shocked by how subtle the acting and dialogue could be. This show really trusted its audience to pick up on certain feelings between the characters without having to spell it out. This felt like a very mature series, almost ahead of its time considering the rest of the genre.
such a fun and surprising series! and so glad I didn’t check MDL reviews before starting it 😂 this made me laugh out loud, blush, and sigh with envy at liankuea’s relationship. 10/10 for enjoyment. I especially liked nukuea and his subtle brattiness that never came off as annoying. even though there were certainly cliches between them, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a BL couple that has quite the same dynamic as liankuea. I’m definitely going to keep my eye on zeenunew’s next few projects together.
the pilot is utter perfection. sadly, given DMD's track record, I don't have many expectations for the actual series. I am still hopeful things will go smoothly in the end because zeenunew have so much potential together... they deserve only the best!
this was almost a perfect 10 for me. it has been a long time since I've laughed out loud so much with a series! this made me feel all the emotions and I was fully immersed in puen and talay's journey. the supporting cast was amazing too. I didn't feel that any character or side plot had too much screen time compared to the leads main story. my only con is with how the multiple universes were handled. they didn't explore this aspect in-depth and most of the show I forgot it even existed. it did come into play when puen shared about his lonely backstory but otherwise it was pretty insignificant. I don't mind much because in every other aspect, this series exceeded my expectations. I loved it so much. my advice is, if you are watching it for the multiverse plot and sci-fi/fantasy aspects, don't expect much. it added a little bit of interest but wasn't addressed much until the last few episodes. however, if you go into this expecting a general concept in which two people who don't know each other's true identity end up falling in love, I think you will enjoy it 100%. this was so romantic. jimmysea knocked it out of the park!
dare I say one of best executed endings that I have ever had the pleasure of watching in a bl series?? the whole story was so well-written but the last 2 episodes were absolute perfection and I loved the final message!! so lovely. I am almost glad, in a way, that krist and gawin won't likely be paired in another series after this... now they will always be kawi+pisaeng to me <3 truly a special show
weirdly how i gave up on ep 10 when it was released… i should really finish it 😭😭 i really really loved…
lol I also dropped it at ep 10 and then picked it back up months later and I am SO glad I did. they really knocked the ending out of the park. I am even looking forward to re-watching the whole thing now. I recommend finishing it when you have a chance!
I have been reflecting after reading your comment. I get what you mean. They didn't show us the pace of their…
oh, really? thanks for your explanation. I assumed the novel spent more time on jom and yai exploring their feelings for each other, but what you said makes sense if that’s not the case ;-;
I loved it and I think PP Krit is amazing, Bilkin is great as well. But I really loved first 3 episodes - everything…
totally agree, I watched ep 1-3 so many times over and then 4-5 kind of lost me... but I was invested in the characters and stories that it didn't matter so much in the end. I wish the crying didn't feel so exploitive... I think teh's character was treated unfairly by the writers. at least the happy ending made up for some of it. still one of the greatest BLs ever!
okay let me start by saying that this series was gorgeous and one of my favorite bl series of the past few years. it left a deep impression on me, tears were shed, and I would totally recommend it to everyone!! BUT I have some lingering thoughts about it (no pun intended), mostly regarding the development of jom and yai's relationship... did anyone else feel confused with how quickly it progressed? I feel like jom was so lukewarm to khun yai throughout the first half of the series and then they were suddenly making out in the rain and living together? I think the actors had phenomenal chemistry but the characters really didn't interact all that much on screen before expecting the audience to believe that they were madly in love with each other. honestly I felt like jom never had closure from the traumatic ending of his relationship with p'ohm/khamsaen, and so I had expected the writers/director to spend more time fleshing out jom and yai's interest in each other in light of that... but they didn't seem to get to know each other on a deeper level at all before getting together. I just wish that the writers had spent more time letting the audience see their affection grow for each other! I do understand that the whole past lives/time travel thing means that they felt drawn to each other from the beginning but that doesn't totally make up for the lack of development between them. anyone else feel the same?
this show is pure fun for me. I don’t take it too seriously and just enjoy zeenunew’s chemistry + nunew’s amazing voice. and even though liankuea aren’t exactly my favorite couple, I still pretty much giggle and blush throughout the majority of every episode ;_;
also, it is just me or is nunew somehow a million times more captivating this season?? I loved him in the first season but he is seriously on another level now!!
I've been rooting for nunew ever since I fell for his personality in the cutie pie bts videos... I hope he continues to gain more fans from now on. 加油吧!~
