I believe you can do both. You can address the problematic nature while still enjoying it and finding it funny. Like, I don't think someone watches the show and thinks "What that dude is doing is totally normal" but you can watch it KNOWING that he's a creepy stalker but still enjoy it anyway because it's a TV show, and TV shows are made for entertainment. It was the same with Utsukushii Kare. The main guy was a creep and everyone watching the show was like "Wow, this guy is a creep" but that didn't mean the show wasn't also enjoyable. Of course, some people can't separate the two, and that's fine, but some people can, and that's also fine.

What a fun movie. I was cringing during the first half, the second hand embarrassment is strong, but i was laughing while cringing. The cast did a good job, and I imagine it was fun to film.

What an utterly fantastic show. I binged the whole series this weekend, and absolutely loved it. And will likely have the OST on repeat for a while. I wish LUNA was a real band, I would definitely go to their concerts.

What a fantastic first episode. It's super ridiculous and over the top and crazy, but in a way that I really enjoyed. I hope it keeps up with this silly humour.

I really liked the show. The last few episodes were kind of odd and sometimes badly edited, and it would've been better if it was only 10 eps instead of 12, but overall I did enjoy it.

Yeah, when he apologised to staff, I was like "Wait, what?", lol. I personally like this soft Thyme because I essentially consider him a different character. Like, he's not Domyouji, he's Thyme. But I fully understand others not liking that

I'm so glad they kept the bullying in this version. I actually liked how the Chinese Meteor Garden removed it almost entirely because that was a new take on it, and I like seeing how different writers/producers change the original content, but I was happy when I saw they were going to keep the bullying in this version because it really is such an integral part of the plot. Thyme has definitely been softened though

They all follow the same basic story, but change a lot as well. The most recent Meteor Garden is probably the most different in terms of the bullying element. This version is following the Japanese version the closest, but Thyme is a bit more sympathetic.

That's what they do in Thailand though. Channel 3, Channel 7, etc, they also have a stable of actors that act in all of their shows. That's how it works.

In Thailand, it might start getting more attention once it starts airing on GMM, and the actors might start promoting it more as well. At the moment, there isn't really much around about it.
