Agree with you. I also think maybe Yoongjae choose to take Jongwoo because he saw it was so hard to take Jongwoo out from the water. Since the beginning, Jongwoo struggle to survive on the battle. Jinyoung tried couple times to attack Jongwoo and failed. So I think thats why maybe Yoongjae choose to team up with Jinyoung.
