The facts are: 1. Woong is not being 100% honest when it comes to Sae Yi. Even tho he knows exactly how she feels, he doesn't confront her. Yes, he did go into bear mode and try to make up excuses regarding the place he lives in. But that doesn't stop Sae Yi from doing what she wants. The thing that he should have done from the beginning is confronting her like in ep 9. Although it feels a little too late now since Yumi is already hurt. 2. A half truth is still a lie. People don't understand this. Why didn't Woong tell Yumi the whole truth from the beginning? If he didn't have anything to hide or feel guilty about it? Yumi finding the truth from somewhere else instead of Woong hurts more. He is not being understanding of her, this is shown when he gets mad in ep9 when Yumi SPOKE FACTS 3. Instead of explaining in FULL DETAIL, he only speaks of the "necessary" stuff. This is just insensitive. Especially when the other person is angry. That time he goes to Yumi's house with that birthday cake, he didn't even bother explaining everything. Extremely insensitive. I'm more surprised at Yumi just laughing it off... Like are you REALLY okay with that???
I personally think the drama portrays Woong really well. Since his character is someone who puts himself first before anyone/anything else. His actions and thoughts match his personality really well. I am excited to see how the drama will end. 4 more eps until s2! Hopefully we get to see more babi this season :D
This is just the ending for the webtoon: Yumi and Woong ends up breaking up because he doesn't want to get married o(TヘTo) Then Yumi falls for babi, who becomes her next boyfriend (if you go to Cast View All you can see Park Jin Young is the second boyfriend) But they also end up breaking up (πーπ) At the end of the webtoon Yumi marries another guy.... (forgot his name, but he hasn't come up in s2 yet so perhaps they've changed it......?)
I LOVE MI SEON's LEITMOTIF (which is the recurring background music that is associated with a particular character) Also can we talk about Eun cheol being THE boyfriend material- Cute and innocent (and hella dense XD) + LOOKS GOOD AF IN THAT POLICE UNIFORM
Actually popular "unpopular opinion": Hye Jin hitting Du Shik in order to conceal their relationship was not "cute"
The actually unpopular opinion: Am I the only one who didn't mind it? Maybe it's cause I've watched many dramas so I'm used to it. I rewatched the slap like 4 times and I couldn't stop laughing. Of course, I am not saying it's acceptable or "cute", but it WAS funny. Great episode, by far my favourite second to ep8.
Bruh is everyone watching the same ep on the same site as me?? WHY IS IT SO LAGGY?!? It stops every 5 seconds Istg (no it is NOT my internet cause I was JUST watching another drama while waiting for ep 10 sub and it was going smoothly)
Disclaimer: This comment may sound offensive to some people and I apologise for ruining the "healing vibes" but because I love HOME-CHA and SHIN MIN AH, I feel the need to speak up.
Lately, I've been seeing some uncalled-for comments regarding our queen Shin Min Ah, and dare I say, some people are just extremely insensitive. Belittling her for her appearance, age, or acting, is just the lowest of the low. 1. She is currently 37 years old and probably looks like your younger sister that your parents favor over. 2. Not only is she an actress, but also a model. Shin Min Ah is one of the most in-demand and highest-paid commercial endorsers in South Korea, including top brands like Calvin Klein and LG. Fun fact: she bought a house with just her commercial earnings. 3. SHE IS SHIN MIN AH, THERE'S NO ONE IN THE SOUTH KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY THAT DON'T KNOW HER!! 4. If you have so much time writing those comments, go read a book. Jealousy is a disease, don't get sick. 5. I would also like to point out that our gorgeous-current-favorite Kim Seon Ho is not the only actor starring in the show. I hope we all show some love to others too!!
Last but not least: the report button is just a click away ♡
Hye Jin: *half-asleep* "Who is the first person you told about your grandfather?" Du shik: "Someone very warm-hearted" Hye Jin: "Damn it" Du shik: *GIGGLES*
HE GIGGLED, I REPEAT, HE GIGGLED, WHY WAS THAT SO ADORABLE?!?!?
How many times have I rewatched hometown cha cha cha already.........
WAIT WAIT WAIT I JUST SAW SOME SPOILERS AND IT DEFINITELY DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HE REJECTED HER SKMFDONUSYBNFD BRO MY HEART DID A FULL SOMERSAULT AND I CANNOT STOP SMILING EVEN THO I HAVEN'T WATCHED EP 10 YET
Ep8 is by far my favourite episode!! The heart-fluttering moments and more backstory of the people in Gongjin. Though love triangles can be toxic, it's obvious that in hometown cha cha cha it won't be the case. But it's nice to see dushik and sunghyun getting a tad bit jealous when it comes to hyejin... I LOVE the dumplings scene, sunghyun's shocked face when dushik stole the dumpling was priceless. I was worried the ep will end with a huge cliffhanger but I'm glad that's not the case either... the hug was as intimate as a kiss, seriously made me swoon... ALSO THE EPILOGUE!!! I KNEW HE WAS AWAKE WHEN SHE LEANED IN MNIBYUTVYBN they're so adorable!!
*sigh* and now you're telling me I have to wait for 5 days for the next episode... I'm going crazy
Third mystery of Gongjin... what if dushik was the one that won the lottery? That explains why despite he only accepts the minimum wages, he has quite a nice house and is able to manage his life pretty well
Happy Birthday Ji Hyo unnie!! Love her on RunningMan, Emergency Couple, Sex is zero 2 and Lovely Horribly... Can't wait to start on The Witch's Diner! She can pull off any roles~
