Still very new to the whole A,S+ level Cdrama categories, but I would assume for the level of investment in this drama, it is definitely a dark horse for it to have achieved S+ rating! I think largely due to WHD's traffic and fandom, but I was very much impressed by the acting and performance of the entire cast, particularly the FL, Emperor Fu (what a villain) and Wan Wan. They would be my top 3 picks aside from WHD of course haha. What an amazing achievement!👏🏼

After watching the last 2 episodes, I think it's safe to say that we are pretty lucky that the show passed censorship so quickly, take a look at the facts:
- we have an obsessed Emperor with the previous emperor's concubine
- an obsessed Empress with a Eunuch
- a fake Eunuch having a relationship with the previous Emperor's concubine (now current concubine)
- an Emperor turned 'Eunuch'

I can't believe we were robbed of that side story, but I suppose the whole 'unwed couple staying in one room, let alone a eunuch and concubine's would have passed censorship lol.. but this would have also made much more sense about why Emperor Fu kept on going on about her having a lover and being seen all town with him. XD had kept his distance in public (aside from the supper scene) so it wouldn't have caused that much gossip.

What? Can't believe they cut out 4 episodes of good content .. guess we will need to be satisfied with the BTS footage 😭

I have the same question! Or perhaps she fell for Ah Duo in the beginning when she was really lonely and then requested for him to serve her after XD entered Zhao Ding Division (not knowing he's not Ah Duo)? Just a wild guess. She's willing to go crazy along with him.. that is almost the same level of obsession as the emperor... These two villains are portrayed so well by the actors!
