I don't like SJK here too... His acting is so underwhelming especially as Do Joon. So I was never invested in his journey as JDJ. It's when he act as Hyun Woo in the first and 16th episode I can see his effort in acting. He is good on Vincenzo, but nothing can beat his acting innocent man and Werewolf boy yet for me

Well, when he wake up, everything has already point out against him from all the evidence sinxe he doesn't prepare he will be in Hyunwoo's body. Meanwhile as DJ he has all the advantage from harapuji money and status and his acknowledge of the future. and it boost his confidence. I don't think the show showing his cleverness in business as Hyunwoo enough to judge he has lost his touch.

I don't think they intent to make DJ successful is the key for episode 2-15. The key is how far the journey DJ to show how greedy and mess up this family is. DJ is the one who make them go this far up to what happened in episode 1 and 16. They become mess up and become a monster. It's not about dj and his journey, it's about people around him in the family. If he doesn't exist, the family will inheritance soonyang without blood. I've never once feel DJ is the protagonist I want to root because he doesn't has dynamic as DJ. So I don't find myself feeling cheated by the writees because i already feels he is just the catalyst for this mess up happened.

I actually didn't invest on Do Joon's journey in the first place. I was more.invest when episode 16 happened. The executin looks so real and engaging. Might be because SJK act as HyunWoo is more engaging than him as Do Joon. So I was thinking if only they invest more in Hyunwoo's past journey this drama will be better

That soul is Hyunwoo. Both souls is HyunWoo.

At the end that Soonyang family is toxic and JDJ dying make sense. He will never survive living in that family despite he is smart enough leading the company. actually writers set him free by being back into Hyunwoo's body. Happy ending for Hyunwoo imo.

I think JDJ remember it everytime he is near death experience. Or else Universe won't allow him to remember his death as JDJ because he will definitely will try to avoid it.

I agree with you. It won't ruin the story if he died. In fact, it would be too force if the ending is a happy ending. From beginning, DJ toy with this family to reach his goals. There will be the consequences. And He doesn't helped his previous family's poverty also. Hyun Woo in in desperated of Money. So it makes sense now he Killed someone to get position in large company. Now it make sense if he get startled when he see DJ's photo on his desk as 4-2.

I'm loving it so far. And I'm Loving Yo Syun Suk in this roles. This is like lowkey melodrama so far. IMO.. Which I Love. It's kind sad this kind of drama has little viewers. episode 1 drop so much into 1.8 rating. OMO. I love it and it's quite engaging so far. The directing is catch up all the nuance. and the writing is so good

No It's not a blank slate. Haha... Sorry if you misunderstood. but SOOD it's not only rely on chemistry and story between the leads. They also rely on mystery and each side character arc. But the overall main story really revolves around their love story. so if they can't sale the emotion between the character, their Love story and the chemistry is lacking, it will be abit underwhelming IMO . and any drama will be underwhelming without good chemistry between the cast right?

I get curious about chemistry too. IMO One of the crucial Part in the drama since this drama is love story tale accross time from 1998 to current time. Without good chemistry, It will be underwhelming IMO/
they both have 6 years age difference FFS. HyoSeop It's not someone who can easily get along, but so far based on I observe, he is more dare and at ease intimate with older acctress IMO. Yeo Been is really good at creating chemistry, from Son Suk Ku and Yun Ji-On di be melodramatic and Song Joong ki in Vincenzo. SO hopefully the chemistry will be a hit..

What I mean is SOOD require more nuance acting rather than heavy since this is overall a love story drama with abit of thriller element. So I disagree Sood is heavier than romantic dr2 which a heavy drama IMO. Lee sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seoo put a comandable performances there and no wonder they get couple of awards even outside of Sbs. Both of them definitely put nuance performances and not feel out of place in romantic dr 2.

I think what I get curious is if Ahn Hyo Seop can pull off extrovert character mix with angst like Liziwei. He play extrovert character before, but it's already too long. He is shooting without a break now so I wonder either his performances will be maximal.

Dr romantic 2 is heavier imo... From the high intensity in OR or ER scene, to loan shark tried to tear him down. Better directed as well. I don't know with this one. This one required more nuance emotion rather than being intense or heavy. In sood the intensity just start from the third act.

Off course SJK presence is helping to promote the drama. But the drama start from only 6% rating. But the rating start rising so much from episode 2 and that episode starring without song joongki. I think it's safe to say the drama become ahit after episode 2 because they love the execution in that episode so much. Just like extraordinary woo who is become phenomenon due to the execution of the director and actor

I think if DJ inheret it, it also will dangering him IMO. With JYC excluding DJ in his inheritance, so there is no one who will feels unfair, because assuming DJ can buy Soonyang means he can run a company.

Poor harapuji, He is already has illness which seems he can't be saved, add to a fatal accident is happening to him .How in the world he is gonna survived ?

I'm bmajor economy from accounting departement, so I can refresh my acknowledge about finance in my college days. Haha.. i think i'm at home that finally a drama about finance and not law and doctor all the time lol
