Yeah, it a process for the subbing to get published. It has to get screened first to see if there are any inappropriate language etc. I've completed the remaining missing subs for ep 2; the community is currently reviewing it. I believe you said you wanted to help with the subbing? If so that's great! I don't know if I want to continue subbing, I'm getting restless with this. lol Btw, did you finished the novel?

The drama made quite a few changes to which I am not satisfied.
I believe the black mist is the dark magic that his father cultivated that then entered Chen Lan's body. It was probably dormant all those years, and now it seems the weaker he gets, the sooner the evil magic will awake? That's just my guess.

In the book, Li Chen Lan was the Demon King's inner demon (alter ego?) remember when the demon king was cultivating dark magic, but then it backfired on him, and was possessed? Well, that magic is Li Chen Lan. While he was locked up for thousands of years, Chen Lan's evil energy was absorbed throughout FengMo mountains, ridding him of all evil. He and Jiang Wu are the same; they're both born as Inner Demons. (Jiang Wu from Qin Xian.) Later on, after killing Jiang Wu, the remaining remnants of his soul entered Chen Lan's body slowly taking control, making Chen Lan more destructive and aggressive.

I wished they kept the Novel's version in some parts of the episodes. I still enjoy the drama though, can't wait for her little peck on the lips. hehe

#1: There's really no love story between those two, Zhao Yao had heard that Qin Qian Xian is extremely beautiful/handsome and so she captured him and stared at him for a whole night, then released him the following day. Her actions surprised him (her releasing him) because she's supposed to be an evil person. So his heart started having doubts and grew Jiang Wu (evil spirit). Jiang Wu is attracted/likes Zhao Yao. That's why Qin Qian Xian is determined to get rid of him. (I hoped I explained it correctly)
#2: I didn't watch Flame's daughter but there weren't multiple deaths to be resurrected. Qin Qian Xian stole Zhao Yao's body and preserved it in an ice cave, that's why Li Chen Lan and the Northern Mountain leader couldn't find it. Also, the bloodline of the Qin's clan could resurrect the dead, so when Zhi Yan's one drop of blood splashed on Zhao Yao, she became spiritually linked to Zhi Yan. In order for Zhao Yao to look like herself she has to return to her body, which is in an ice cave that's hidden inside one of the traps of the Qian Chen sects. Once she's done that, she has to return to Fenmo mountain and have her name called three times in order for her to fully become one with her body. I wonder how the drama will portray this. Lol sorry got off topic but wanted to explain it anyways lol

I have no idea who the hell went ahead and published it because I am still working on one of the other episodes. Luckily I am still able to edit it, this episode is missing like half of the subbing. SMH. This is ridiculous. Thank you for letting me know. I didn't check the whole episodes, I just saw that it was published.

It's a work in process with the subbing. I'm about 90% done subbing ep 2, ( had to start all over since someone deleted my work) ; ( and another MDL'er subbing ep 3 &4. As long as no one else keeps trying to mess with our work it'll be available soon, so fingers crossed! Lol

-Zhao Yao was born a demon, she basically absorbed all the demonic crap in the mountain Lol
-East sect leader will eventually return and she's so cute in the book, very loyal to Zhao Yao
-Zhao Yao never became leader again nor did Li Chen Lan, in the end, they didn't want to waste any more time and basically lived a carefree life, travel and get freaky. lmao
-Zhi Yan ended up as the leader since she's Li Chen Lan's disciple (she was forced to do it lol )
-Li Chen Lan was never a leader when Zhao Yao ruled Wu Lan Sect, he was a gatekeeper Lol South sect leader is the Medicine guy lol
-The uncle I'm assuming is Qin Qian Xian? That's her dad's brother, gross! lol He's in the process of becoming a deity so no they never got together! thank god lol

They should air it EVERYDAY! I haven't anticipated for any drama since Three lives, Three World. This is killing me! =(

In the novel, her parents were never mentioned. Basically her clan were the protectors of the Demon King's seal. The only people left were her and her grandpa. Others had either died or left the mountain and never came back. I'm assuming if the Demon King commanded his subordinate to protect the seal, their power/martial arts must be up there with the Demon King. (just an assumption, LOL) If you remember in episode 1 when MingXian touched her wrist, he's like why do you have such powerful inner energy being that young. So maybe she's always been that powerful? LOL The girl that left was one of the 4 sect leaders (North, South, East, West). She was the East leader. When Zhao Yao died, she cried for months, she LOVES Zhao Yao, so to give her some hope, even if it's a fib, the West Sect leader (the guy in the wheelchair) told her there was some kind of revival herb in some island that can revive Zhao Yao, so without any hesitation she left to go look for it, it's been 5 years and she's still searching. lmao The guy with the staff is the North leader, in the book he was put in jail because he tried to kill Li Chen Lan, no matter the cost to avenge Zhao Yao. The girl with the whip used to be a low ranked guard and I guess she worked her way up. It seems like she has a huge crush on Li Chen Lan. LOL Let me know if you want any other spoilers Lol I don't mind writing a whole essay LMAO

Omg, I just finished reading the novel! it was soo good! I love Zhao Yao and Mo Qing's relationship, they are so cute together! Zhao Yao is a pervert! lmaoooo I really hope the drama will be as good as this novel! Oh yeah, they do have kids, Zhao Yao gave birth to fraternal twins a girl and boy! :) There are certain changes in the drama, that I wished they didn't change but I'm also glad for certain changes in the drama Lol I'm glad they kept South Mountain leader (Medicine man lol) a grown man and not a little kid Lol Now I have to wait for the drama to come out! ahhhh Lol
