Watched 2 eps and l really like it! It's a heartwarming, family type drama with an obvious romance + dark secret set-up. However, despite the feeling of a big reveal, it's still feels so lovely and comforting to watch. Everyone seems to be connected and I love the realism in the show (the impact of the pandemic is discussed, everyone sanitises/washes their hands, etc.). Also the Christmas vibes are so sweet! We need all the cuteness this year and this show is giving it to us!

Good question! I think Ashi Girl is a good start. It's a romcom time travel j-drama and it's very funny/cute. Not too much age difference (except he's technically much older than her, being from 1559 while she's from 2017 LOL). I think the comedy and character growth is similar to Love Lasts Forever. In terms of age-gap+romcom, I think Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu is really excellent. It's adorable and heartwarming and very, very funny. Lots of character development and it kind of reminds me of Love Last Forever. I also ADORE 30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii (BL) but this one is currently airing and ends Dec 24 so be prepared for an agonising wait between each episode.
Don't hesitate to watch this drama! It is so quirky, adorable and romantic. It's a slice of life, quite progressive and feminist, and I adored the character growth. I loved every character: the quirky and disillusioned with the job market FL, the introverted and romantically inexperienced lead, the successful and wonderful (older) aunt who's given up on love, the playboy who is really looking for love, the sharp and astute gay colleague...and so many more! It was a joy to see each character have a backstory and be so relatable. I wasn't expecting this drama to be so feminist, but it definitely is and I loved every second. Also, I'm going to be practicing that end song choreography!
I personally LOVED this drama. It's so cringe but so cute. Every ep had so much heart and each character was multi-faceted. I loved that our FL was kind and intelligent. She learnt from her mistakes and was able to earn the respect and admiration of practically everyone. I went into this expecting (and wanting) fluff. I got lots of fluff, but also so much more. Def re-watching...the acting is excellent, music is great and the storyline is perfect. Also, the medical aspects of this drama seem so much more realistic than most I've watched. It might be the best medical rom-com I've watched! P.S. there's so much comedic gold in each ep. I love the running gag of the warrior get-up and the 'first boyfriend' conference was hilarious!

They're definitely headed that way. The author kept dropping hints in the manga and dedicated special end chapters to them. But they haven't started anything. Fingers crossed for Vol3!
