Nothing like a thought provoking BL steeped in reality to invigorate one's life. I was watching a reaction once upon a time where queer people were sharing that much of what is seen in media is a sanitised version of gay life for the hetero gaze. Gay life and more specifically, gay love is much more nuanced that what is selected for showing.
I wonder if we can say that about this show. Much of what is happening to them, although hectically graphic, has nothing to do with being gay. I think its a human experience. Wanting to die, afraid to hope, finding love, those are all human experiences. I dunno, I might be waffling, but there is a profound feeling with this BL that I am grateful for. Deeply grounding for me who usually refuses to engage media and just want to consume.
Likely not gonna happen but I voted for GagaOOLala to be added to lists of services // where to watchhttps://kisskh.at/discussions/suggestions/130255-add-gagaoolala-to-lists-of-services
That hug at the end, although warm needed to be full frontal. Like dique to dique full frontal. The side thing was not as satisfying to witness to be honest.
Guys, its not a bromance! Explain Tian's woody then, because he didn't wake up with one. He saw that Wang had morning wood, his ding dong reacted and rather violently I might add. Its not a bromance, period.
If this was GMMTV, the God character would has seen the picture of the ex and stormed off and taken 2 episodes PLUS 3 business days to clear the misunderstanding. They get on my nerves!
I've enjoyed seeing Bible again! Such a treat because he's such a beautiful man. Although I enjoyed his performance in this, there were moments when I thought he could have done better. He is growing and he is learning and we love him for his commitment, but yah this series can travel safely. I am ready for less smart things now.
EP4 and I'm blown away by how complex this series is. Leaves me with questions like, are we going to have a happy ending? Also what would a happy ending look like in such an environment? Is therapy a thing where they live? How does one heal from so much hurt. ๐๐๐
I'm overwhelmed, but I wont stop watching๐ฎโ๐จ๐

I wont be rushing home from work for this one. I'm disappointed and feel the trailer gaslit me for sure.๐๐๐
