I reserved judgement with the first incident, then the thing with Poi happened and I also just watched from the distance and now this. I think its a third strike and safe to say the young man is a problem and anyone is entitled to decide how to react.
This was a well written, well acted and perfectly directed film. I felt all the feels and I especially felt the loss. Steeped in realism, I appreciate that this is deep departure from BL which can feel frivolous at times.
What a series! Im going to struggle to move on from them for a while and that's okay. I absolutely loved the series with all its flaws. I loved Man and you could tell he's an experienced actor. Ben was special to watch too. He's not the first rookie to enter such a big platform and he really made an effort.
Onto the next BL! There really is no rest for a BL fan.

You have raised a critical political issue which I feel I was not paying attention to and you are right. Its important to make a stand and stick to it.
I would not feel completely comfortable with a total boycott of this particular series mainly because it seems to me they made attempts to get around the censorship issue and that alone, I feel deserves our attention. To a certain extend, it feels like contribution to advocacy work because with the success of this series, they may be able to go back and say, "look how the world has responsed". That way we inch closer and closer to recognition.
One of the most successful BLs in history was the Untamed and there was zero touching, no kissing - just eye fucking and it blew minds. I'm thinking we should give this a chance as well, given that it really is possible to have a successful story without skinship. Just thinking.
