not belittling, genuine curiosity. If you watch a LOT of dramas from Japan, there is a lot of willingness to be naked on screen and I wondered if compared to other Asian countries, if there is something we don't know about how they are remunerated.
A lot of the dramas I have seen have just gone far too far and have not seen the same from other countries. It might also just that Japanese artists are more committed to storytelling and to their craft. I really don't know. I am willing to be shown as I genuinely don't know.
first episode showed ML was in love with a girl and I got so hectically confused because I thought it was a BL and now I see on the comments that its that gender swapping business. I have NEVER enjoyed that. I will place on hold until my mind is ready to explore such a spectrum.
Sometime with j-dramas, I feel we are oscillating between total prude and full on soft porn! This left me wondering if there was a way of telling the story without all that panting and nakedness.
Do Japanese actors get paid a lot for showing their bodies like this??
1st episodes are usually tricky because creators are trying to create interest without giving everything away and so can be a bit tedious. So, I will reserve judgement until I have seen more.
looks like they may use each episode to unfold each of the characters and I have to say Theo didn't seem ecstatic. Perhaps his heart is already claimed and he may not be aware...I'm here for ALL of it!!
