this series popped into my recommendations in the middle of the night and by the 3rd episode I was hooked, except by then we had lost the subtitles. LOL! So I then shazamed the intro theme song to get the title in English and found myself on MDL where lovely people shared where to watch.
The best way to know if a series is done well is to watch how you respond to it. If you absolutely and confidently HATE the characters, then you know they did their jobs and boy was I enraged throughout this series.
It was infuriating, moving and touching in many ways. I would absolutely recommend if you're looking for something gripping and you have time to binge. Yes, the ending was meh, but the ride there was absolutely something to write home about.
I cried. I felt so sorry that the world is the way that is it. I wished it was easier but most of all, I appreciated that this story was made. If you have doubts, please watch and decide. WoW!
Just finished this series and I'm amazed that its from 2017 but remains relevant for and in 2022. The story, the direction, the editing, the ACTING. Everything works to create a moving slice of life.
I am a big advocate of allowing characters to rest once they've told their story and for a moment I waivered at the end of EP 7 because what if, right?? ... then I realised its not necessary. There was sufficient realism in the series to show that life indeed goes on, there will be challenges because that is the nature of it all. A great production.
... the chemistry between Ho Beom and Chae Rok. was WHOAH!!! Striking visuals and deep bromance any day of the week for me. One day we're going to get a FULL BLOWN BL and watch me call in sick that day!
I'm glad I watched this. I was a little concerned about the reincarnation tag, but they handled it sensitively which I appreciated. Its a fluffy and sweet story and rather enjoyable to watch. Would recommend if you're looking for something light.
