The father came through as deeply homophobic. Spewing things like 'real men don't ...' and so that's not going to invite confidence in any one, let alone a young man trying to find his way in a difficult world. So, I think he knew his son was gay and hated it and tried to do something about it.
He didn't go home because he didn't feel welcome there.
I'm lurking in the comment section because I'm too chicken to sit through Ep5. My anxiety is through the roof worrying about what could go wrong for the reporter and his politician. I feel like any minute something could go sideways. I'm stressssssssed!π₯²π₯²π€π€
Still, there's something available to buy and read before the series starts and that's where the problem is.
I feel it would be better if we all went in blind and there was collective discovery. Might be more fun, even.
