Can't believe its over. The tension from Ep 1 to 5 almost killed me🤣😂. So glad Ep6 was what it was. Also we all kinda knew Aof is a softie. He was never going to be the guy who makes the audience sad even if the story demanded it. It's almost comical, but you have to appreciate his commitment to solid storytelling, capturing audiences and making us root for his couples. A talented man in whom many of us believe.

Perhaps he needed some form of finality. You don't get that by being soft. Also, I imagine when in that situation its difficult to imagine a different regime or a different way of living.
Goodness, first episode they really said, let's make it a history lesson and off they went. It's not an awful idea to assume the audience is new to the genre. Many of us had no clue until Abo Desire came on the scene, besides the genre is open to interpretation, right? Just like not all vampire sparkle in the sun.

This benefitted greatly from binge watching, the story makes a lot of sense and the plot is absolutely intriguing. It's clear SUKFILM is planning on a part II and all we have to do is wait.
