Guys, this is so good! It's way better than I expected.
Their rivalry is hilarious and the chemistry is amazing. The storytelling never gets boring. I absolutely love it!
It's such a dark horse. I didn't expect it to be this fun. Highly recommend! 🔥😁

update. minseong broke up source. their IG
Like I said, Hyeongjun leaving someone as valuable as Jaeha for Minseong was totally not worth it.
I'll admit I'm biased against Minseong, but it turns out I was right.
Jaeha has already found a great relationship while Hyeongjun has to keep searching, and he might never find anyone as sincere as Jaeha again.

I really love this kind of vibe, it's something you can only truly find in Japanese high school BL.

Last year, I fell in love with Minase and Haruki from "Our Youth", and now I feel like I'm falling for Kanata and Akira from this one in the exact same way. ❤️

People whining her about a 6 year age gap between two adults acting like its pedophilia, digusting. There are tons…
Exactly. A 6 year gap between consenting adults is perfectly normal. It’s wild how some people act like it's something terrible, while at the same time romanticizing actual red flags like non-consensual kisses or unnecessary sexual content on screen. The hypocrisy is unreal.🙄

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! Yamaguchi Kentaro and Song Joong-ki.
Tell me I’m not the only one noticing the chemistry is insane! It’s seriously making me wish for a BL of this couple 🔥

After everything Jaeha went through on the show, it seems like he’s finally found the happiness he deserves with the right person in real life now. And that guy is really handsome and cute too. So happy for him! 😉

So Hyunjun has confirmed that he and Sunwook aren’t dating. But I guess most of us already suspected that since…
He said they aren't dating, but he used terms like 'for now' or 'at this moment.'
But then, he said they're in the flirting stage, which is wild considering it's been three months since they chose each other on the show. 🤔
On top of that, he even liked Sunwook's latest Instagram post!

But whatever. What happens on the show stays there. Once they're out in the real world, so many factors come into play.
It’s best not to expect anything because everyone has their own life to lead.

I love how I can tell people are revealing themselves as red flags by supporting Jaeha, lmao. You really support…
I already said it’s my opinion. If you don’t agree, that’s not my problem.

Whatever some people might say, I actually really enjoyed this season because there were so many good-looking cast members. For a dating show, what’s more attractive than a cast like that? 😎 If their love stories turn out to be touching, that’s a great bonus.

And for me, HyunJun and SunWook definitely fit that description. They look so right together and there’s absolutely nothing about them that feels off. Even with MinSeong and HyeongJun, who I just couldn't get into at all, it didn't matter. It’s their relationship, so I just looked past it without a second thought.

My only gripes were the elimination, the editing that focused on filler instead of real chemistry, and the toxic fans. Still, it was far from boring. I doubt anyone who was truly bored would sit through 14 episodes just to complain at the end.

Since it’s the finale, here is my individual wrap-up (Just my personal bias and opinions here)

HyunJun: I like his Alpha male persona and how clear he is about what he wants, even if he isn't the best at expressing it. ❤❤❤❤❤

Taichi: His visuals are top-tier. But honestly, it felt like such a waste of potential in this show. ❤❤❤❤❤

HanGyeol: He had so much endgame potential. It’s such a shame because he was so set on Taichi from the start (his ideal type) that he just couldn't open his heart to anyone else. ❤❤❤❤❤

SunWook: Not just a cute face, but approachable and warm. It’s no wonder Hyunjun and SuMin were so into him. ❤❤❤❤❤

YunJae: Such a shame. His adorable charm didn't help him on the show at all. It only seemed to attract toxic fans. ❤❤❤❤ (Was gonna give him more hearts for his cuteness, but his toxic fans ruined it)

SuMin: Honestly, I really wanted him to open up to Yunjae. They could’ve been such a cute pair. ❤❤❤❤

UmHyeokJin: I like his personality, but his flashy look made him easy to overlook. ❤❤❤

LeeHyeokJin: I’ve noticed that the youngest cast member always gets overlooked every season. Maybe the Korean gay scene just doesn't favor the younger guys? ❤❤❤

JaeHa: I totally overlooked him at first since he wasn't my type, and the drama with HyeongJun made me predisposed to dislike him. But he became my absolute favorite. His sincerity is so touching. I’m not even sad he didn't win his ex back because he deserves someone better who truly recognizes his worth. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

HyeongJun: The total opposite of JaeHa. At first, I wanted to root for him because his look and personality are exactly what I like, but ended up feeling nothing. He seems to love being in love, but doesn't actually value it. Honestly, he seems like a far more experienced romantic than his outward appearance suggests. He's a better match for MinSeong than JaeHa anyway. (Just my take. To each their own.) ❤❤❤

MinSeong: Having seen him in S2, I’ve never really felt comfortable with him. I don't hate him, I’m just indifferent. I was worried he’d snatch HyeongJun at first, but now? Good riddance. No regrets. They deserve each other 😏. ❤

Yunjae is not an Angel. Was not a good friend nor “Considerate or Innocent” towards Sunwook on the show.Yunjae…
He is not wrong for being that way, even if I think he acts a bit immature for someone who's 28. But then again, nobody is perfect and everyone has the right to follow their heart in that environment even if it does not work out. Everyone in the house did the same.

The point is, others are not wrong either.

Hyunjun is not wrong for not liking Yunjae. Why should he when he is just not that attracted to Yunjae?

Sunwook is not wrong just because Hyunjun likes him more than Yunjae and chose him.
And do not forget that besides Hyunjun, Sumin also picked him as number 1, and he actually got three 1st place votes in the attraction ranking. Don't use the excuse of being a newcomer vs. an original member. Hangyeol was also a newcomer, and he still got three 1st place votes too.

The only problem is Yunjae's fans act like everyone else is wrong and only he is right. It is pure ego. They just can't accept that Yunjae wasn't good enough for Hyunjun to choose (and the fact that nobody in the house even picked him as their number 1). They are acting like sour grapes because they did not get what they wanted, so they just hate on others. They are acting like bitter villains who cannot stand seeing people in love. They blame everything and everyone else but themselves for their own delusions.

Despite all the hate on X, I like it better there. There, people are real and express their concerns and opinions,…
Not everyone has the same level of maturity. If you prefer a place where hate is normal, then X is that way. This space is for civilized humans, so if you can't handle it, just leave.

Honestly, I don't think YunJae needs to wait for him to say it out loud. Hyunjun's actions speak for themselves.…
@kjshell213 My point is, it's not the responsibility of the person being loved to tell someone not to love him. He can’t even predict what will happen to his own feelings in the future, so he doesn't have to be responsible for the other person's feelings.

If you’re the one who fell in love, then you're the one responsible for your own emotions. You can have expectations, but if things don't work out, you have to accept that. Don't blame the other person for not loving you back when you chose to cling to false hope on your own.

BTW, I see the irony in your post! Taichi and HanGyeol, both failed to find love on this show themselves. I probably wouldn't go to them for dating advice! 😂

If Yunjae hadn’t been there someone else would still have been the viewers favorite in his place. And there…
Just because some people don't like it, it doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. Those who enjoy the show and love this cast can just have fun watching without having to complain, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Of course, the show isn't perfect, but the dissatisfaction of certain viewers isn't a show problem at all. It's a them problem. They should just stop watching or learn to deal with their own emotions instead of blaming it on others

I also think some parts of the show were terrible, like the eliminations, and there are participants I’m not fond of, but it doesn't affect my life at all. Since I chose to watch it, I just overlook it or vent a bit and move on.

At the end of the day, it’s just a show. If anything, it’s a space for gay men to affirm their identity and show their humanity. Why care more about rumors (which are just trivial things people blow out of proportion) than their actual humanity?

Honestly, it’s disappointing to see the hate Hyunjun and Seonwook are getting on social media. Some Yunjae fans…
I think it's a YunJae fans' problem.
I don't hate him, but his fans have a scary and dangerous mindset. Their behavior only reflects badly on him, and they act like their fandom is so big they can control everyone or change the world. It’s pure delusion, and the more they believe it, the more they lose touch with reality.
It doesn't make YunJae or his fans look powerful at all, they’ll only end up being labeled as sore losers.

Let’s be real, this show is just a niche program. Even if the cast members become someone, they’re still just big fish in a small pond and not even close to mainstream fame.
I’m a fan of JunSeongHo, who is easily the most popular in this franchise and a hundred times more famous than YunJae, yet even I wouldn't dare claim they're famous enough for me to look down on or bully anyone.

So there has to be a special reason for hyunjun to like sunwook? 😮‍💨I never heard liking someone because…
Looking at it objectively, there’s no doubt why he chose SunWook over YunJae. SunWook is younger, yet he’s so rational and considerate of other people’s feelings, making it very comfortable to be around him. On the other hand, YunJae is 28, but he is like a naive child. While his fans praise him for being determined, all I see is someone who’s clueless and stubborn, only making things difficult for the other person.

I’m so happy Hyun Jun finally 100% honest with his fellow introvert colleague! (Yunjae) I knew it wasn’t going…
Honestly, I don't think YunJae needs to wait for him to say it out loud. Hyunjun's actions speak for themselves. He only called YunJae on the first day (just because YunJae called him first), but after that? Nothing. No calls, no gifts, and he didn't even join the chat room. I don't get why the burden of managing feelings falls on the person being liked, rather than the person who has the crush, especially when the affection isn't even wanted.

By the way, I’m genuinely curious if smoking is considered a normal thing in Korea. I don't really watch K-dramas, but I’ve noticed smoking scenes in every season of this show. This season it seems like almost everyone smokes, even YunJae who doesn't really have that kind of image. I'm not judging at all, it’s just that I’m used to the values in my country where smoking is often viewed negatively and you’d never see it shown on screen like this. I was just wondering if it's a cultural difference.

i really loveee this season, i honestly enjoyed it, actually liked it even more than season 2. hope the producers…
I think so too.

Even with some sucky moments like the eliminations or certain participants I'm not fond of, this is still my favorite season overall.
Maybe it's because I watch to see what happens rather than having specific expectations of how things should be. And since almost all the participants are good-looking in exactly the way I like, that's a big part of why I enjoy this season so much.
Of course, Junseongho is my all-time favorite, but that's pretty much the only thing I liked about season 2. Other than them, nothing else was really interesting.
Also, I just finished watching Japan's The Boyfriend 2. I have to admit I prefer that show's format, but the cast didn't really click with me, so it wasn't as enjoyable as this.

The reshoot doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it feels more refreshing than previous seasons. It's not repetitive, and I love that the time isn't limited to just 7 days, which I always felt was too short and superficial for people to actually get to know each other.
As for the newcomers, they're at a disadvantage when it comes to time, but they have the advantage of being the center of attention for those who are still looking for options.

Aside from the eliminations, the only other thing I find truly terrible is the editing, which gave way too much weight to Yunjae and Hyunjun's story.
It's not that I dislike them, but the producers gave them so much airtime that it felt like only their fans were watching. The editing gave people the wrong impression that they were the main characters or carrying the show, which isn't true at all.
Some even threatened to quit watching whenever things didn't go their way, yet they never actually do. But honestly, every participant has viewers who want to see their journey too.

I think the only endgames are HyunJun x SunWook and HyeongJun x MinSeong.

For HyunJun and SunWook, I'm not surprised at all. It's obvious they have that natural pull toward each other. It's a 100%, not just 70-80%. It's just a shame the show didn't give them enough screen time. The Edit pushed the narrative of YunJae liking HyunJun so hard that it just created toxic fans instead of highlighting a beautiful, genuine connection.

As for HyeongJun and MinSeong, whatever, I don't care who's rooting for them or who thinks they're cute. I just can't bring myself to buy into it. It doesn't affect my viewing experience anyway. I just watch what happens and feel how I feel, without any expectations of how things should turn out.
Honestly, I started the show stanning HyeongJun. I wanted him to get back with JaeHa not because I was taking sides, but because I was genuinely worried. I know how MinSeong was in season 2 and how he treated those who liked him.
But now? I'm not worried at all. In fact, I'd even say they're a perfect match now. I truly feel for JaeHa, but at the same time, I'm just relieved that JaeHa can finally be free from this and move on. HyeongJun doesn't deserve a man as good as him. JaeHa deserves someone much better, and I truly hope he finds that person. That's just my take based on what I've seen. If you disagree, that's on you.

As for the rest, I don't see any chemistry left between them. I think HanGyeol still has feelings for Taichi, not HyeokJin. And Taichi definitely doesn't like YunJae in a romantic way at all.
What I really regret is that YunJae and SuMin didn't give each other a chance. Honestly, with their personalities and styles, they would have been such a good match.
