Had watched this initially because it's goy Zhang Chi, and it was so worth the watch!

So good, it shouldn't even be in mini-drama category anymore. Cinematography, acting, and everything was so sublime.

Watched the Wu Zhuxi version before seeing Zhang Chi's, and it was good, I thought . But how do you even come close to Zhang Chi and YYT? The period dramas were on fire, and how much more for this psycho-kind-of-ero delight?

Both characters were strong and the nuances with their facial and body expressions were great and the scenes were tastefully made to entice the imagination -- not too explicit but still hot.

This version was what I watched first. LSJ and WYQ were so natural (not saying WGG and HJQ were not, but their story was a bit heavier and had more angst) and had more lighthearted/funny moments.
