Some GL fans (and imo, the majority of interfans) prefer the series with more established couples than taking a chance on new series with new couples, even though the series is way better. Probably due to their unfamiliarity with Thai actresses. Garn is pretty well-known among Thais since she was one of leading ladies of Channel 7, while interfans might have no clue who she is prior this series.

Abt the ratings, if you've been on MDL long enough, you would notice many "ghost" accounts popping up out of nowhere to either boost or tank the ratings. That's why some plain, boring series got higher ratings.

They are a fixed couple. Maybe they're just not into fanservice.

Based on local TV ratings and streaming ratings, yes. Khom Khlang and Juliet & Juliet are currently the most-watched GLs. And Pls Love too. Plus, these three series air/release on primetime at 8pm-8:30pm, while Third Person airs toward late night (and becomes available on YT an hour later). That time slot difference affected the viewership numbers a bit.

Because right now, people are focusing on Mae Kru Bulan and Juliet. So not many are tuning in to this series even though it's available for free.

I think the series will have one or two episodes focusing on Sun and Nadia's POV, bc so far we only see things from Chris's POV. And I think you would agree with me that even if you've read the book, you still can't predict how the series will unfold those storylines. The first two episodes are not even the same as the book, right?

It's a collab project. Both Copy A Bangkok and Northstar are production companies with their own artists. CAB mostly produced BL. This project was originally announced with a different pair of actresses, Enjoy-June (who both signed under Conversation Thailand), but they ended their on-screen partnership just months ago, causing the project to pause.

So my guess is that Cheewin Thanamin, the owner of CAB, is directing the series, and Northstar's involvement makes sense given that Ginny-Jayna are prominent North Star talents.

I bought the Thai version. But if you're looking for the official translated version, you might have to wait a bit. The author will release it on Meb soon.

That's awesome that you have more knowledge about mental health issues. But for those like us who don't, we can only guess and have theories. Kind of like how I'm working TV production—some murder mystery shows can feel too predictable and dull, while to some viewers it could be super intriguing. So a good plot twist would always be a good game changer.

Well, I can only speak based on Ep1. So far, the series and the book are slightly different especially the part when Chris and Sun meet and also the nature of Chris-Nadia's relationship.

That part is actually changed from what's in the book. So even as someone who reads the book, I found it a little confusing, but then I already knew why. But let's see how that part will unfolds

Some of your theories are almost right, but still far from what really happened. The series will surprises you with so many layers about who Nadia and Sun are in Chris' life.

You're not the only one watching waaay too much of the genre. In most murder-mystery shows, the main character could end up being the killer. And I somehow knew it was either Liu or Belle, but I'm not expecting Liu's story to be that complex. Pretty sure seeing clips is not the same as watching the whole series, so for me, yeah, it was a good plot twist regardless.

I love the dark vibe of this series. The gore and graphic scenes might not be everyone's cup of tea, but that's what this series is all about. As of Ep4, it's pretty intriguing.

* The way Bank Artit portrays his characters in this series and "Tathata I Am What I Am" is pretty similar. He seems boring to me.
