At this point I am not even sure what the next three endless agonising episodes mean and what are those episodes…
Exactly! The first 8eps were so good, but it went downhill afterwards… I know some people will argue that this is about real things, how relationships actually r for ordinary people… n i get it n liked it too, at least until eps8… but now? Who wants to watch the leads breaking up in each eps? It happened in the last 2eps, all angst n no happy moments… I was kinda hoping for a twist in the 2nd breakup, but nope!
Unfortunately to drop it is a bit too late, only 3eps left… however i might wait till all 3 out then take it all in 1 swoop… it’s managed to disappoint me in the last few eps, but i still wish for a HE… if it ends with the leads happier being single n the cheaters r happily together, i’d be so mad!
For a secret relationship at the office, do we get sneaky cute moments while working? Nope! They live together for a period of time, n with another colleague around, do we get those funny secretive scenes at the apartment? Nope! It just seems that they skip some potential moments but instead give us some filler eps filled with annoying misunderstandings & breakup… no happy moments in the last few eps, not even enough screentime of them being in the same frame together… Even the exes is somehow in a good relationship? Like why? Don’t they need to suffer after what they put the leads through? Somehow the cheaters deserve a better life than the leads? N don’t get me started with LSW’s dad in the mix, what’s the use of him anyway? I thought his presence was to help them move fwd n somehow reconcile, but nope! From tomorrow ‘s trailer, they’ll have to deal with the gossips at the office when they’ve actually broken up… what’s the point anyway? I’m just so disappointed & frustrated by this point… *sigh
This is my mood now and this after i spent a lot of time defending/liking it but episode 12 reaaaaally dropped…
Exactly how i feel… mainleads got minimal screentime together in the last few eps, they even have more scenes with their exes n this kinda makes me mad! I think this drama wanna show different kinds of relationships for normal people, but the angst got too much n i almost lost faith in this drama…
I want it to go back to the pace like till eps8… can we get it next week? 4eps left n i’m losing interest… 😓 i only stay for SK & PMY… plz drama, go lighter!

They meet up a few times just to talk about her upcoming book, but from the looks of it sparks fly for both, but no romantic scene yet… n from the next week’s trailer, he rejects her in a way… however the trailer esp for this drama almost always tricks us, so we’ll have to wait next week… 😉
Took a peek at eps11 n decide to wait till tomorrow ‘s eps to watch them both… i see some potential light at the end of this short dark tunnel… 🤞

I’ve just finished City of Streamer n it ended also kinda like this… it’s just a shame coz they r so good but always a let down in the last few eps… it could’ve been much much better if they didn’t go with the last minute angst&reuniting in the last scene kinda drama… I would prefer some afterwards scenes, glimpses of their present&probably future lives, esp with amazing leads’ chems like these 2dramas have…
It was still a really good watch though… yeah well we got our HE at least n not some BS open ending… *sigh

I’ve finally watched it anyway… i did it more for ML the last 10eps n skipped lots, especially the FL&SML parts… not exactly liking FL for not staying beside ML while he faced lots of probs n tried to atone to his father’s evildoings alone, esp her being in public with SML… I’ve read the comments that they r not supposed to separate n actually face everything together till the end in the novel, so how they changed this kinda disappointed me…

Yeah, the way YL hated LY, we assumed there was some kinda personal vendetta, that LY did something to him or to the people he luv (not sure he could luv anyone though with his evil character)… but till the end there’s no real explanation… he just said that he thought LY was a traitor of his nation… like what did LY do to be called that? so weird after all YL did to LY…

Agree! Being high while writing the last eps is the only reason i could accept, since it’s been good till that eps… N how is YL isn’t punished at all? He is the villain… since he helped them fighting the enemy, somehow they end up respecting each other??? N since QM saved QY, somehow she woke up n not jealous anymore??? The redeeming parts r just… 🙄
How is YL got his happy ending? He is so evil! He sacrificed Qiu’s fam just so he could fight LY… they could’ve had a much much worse ending if LY&QY didn’t rescue them… n in the end the explanation to his evildoings is just somehow he misunderstood LY? Since he helped them fighting Liang people, he redeemed himself? He wasn’t punished whatsover n even got promoted… *sigh
