As far as i know, when someone noble/officer marries the legal wife, he proposes, picks her up at her home in a parade on their wedding day n take her back to his place to do the wedding bows, etc… however concubine usually just comes to his house in her wedding dress n wait for him in his room, no rituals… in this case i think declaration is enough since no formal banquet is supposedly needed to take in a concubine…
however this is based on my lots of watching historical chinese dramas, so formally i’m not exactly sure…

He found out that the girl he rescued 6years ago was actually QY n not QM in eps13… but at that time he was already betrothed to QM, so yeah… IMO that’s the point he realized his own feelings… don’t worry, he won’t marry QM… keep watching, it’s really good! 😊
I guess the writer wanna let her leave to make her realize about how much she actually luv LY like what she confessed to QX at the end of eps30… but still, everything she said to LY on the rooftop in eps28 was just heartless for me… i get that she’s an independent woman who wanna achieve her dream by traveling n writing, but why she had to tell LY about being free n not shackled n etc while looking so happy n no hint of sadness about leaving him… how was he expected to confess then?
Then in eps29, LY basically confessed his feelings n even said that he’d wait for her eventhough she said she’d be traveling for years n tell him not to wait… so they enjoyed that last day together being happy couple then she just left, leaving the heartbroken LY remembering their memories together in every part of his place… who does that?
Yes she came back for him after finding out he’s in trouble… but from the next previews, looks like she’ll leave him again… i’m hoping it’s just a clickbait/twist since LY will be all alone without SJ & his mom n not having QY by his side would be too much… i’m still optimistic that we’ll have a HE, but i prefer her staying with him rather than some kinda timewrap to reunite our leads in the last scene of the final eps… we’ll see i guess, i hope they won’t have a rushed ending, a proper wedding would be nice… fingers crossed!🤞

I’m still liking the themed storytelling… however, can we go back to the light funny scenes? Eps5&6 r filled with uninteresting things that got some boring parts, unlike eps1-4 which was so good!

28 eps in n they r still not together for real… after LY got shot n QY poured her feelings out, saying she’d never leave him n stay by his side, etc, i thought they were making a huge progress… but in that same eps she wants to leave him to find her own stories? I just don’t get it… why writers? It’s kinda ok if at least she says she’ll come back for him since she said being with him n his mom feels like the best home for her… but nope she just wanna go n bye… like she forgot everything she has said to him, as if nothing had happened between them n she just wannabe free even from him… for me that’s just weird…

I really liked ep5 and the comedy in it helped me recover from the 2521 emotions but the Ep6 preview kinda giving…
Exactly… i’m also hoping their relationship will not be in trouble just yet n the preview for eps6 is just clickbait… they were officially together in eps4 n eps5 only got that coffeeroom moment n i guess the lift scenes with that 3rd guy from the office who is suspicious of them were funny, but other parts r full drama…
I’m expecting team building moments, some secret hillarious office romance scenes n how people finally find out about them, especially those 2exes, can’t wait for them to findout! Though i hope it won’t lead them to a breakup…
Like u said, at least please give us 10 good funny fluffy eps before the angsty part… i’ve had enough watching drama that’s full speed romance in the beginning, but not even halfway thru already full with unnecessary angst till the end… best wishes for tomorrow’s eps! 🤞

Hello my friend, i guess u r watching this too… i like it though, the leads’ chems so far is good… i’m actually not a big fan of much older woman drama, but this one is ok for me… maybe not that special, but a romcom that i can watch without having to think too much, just a light entertainment…
N for that annoying female, from the trailers looks like she will have a story with the SML… so i hope they go that way soon instead of the complicated luv rectangle…
