I will give you one thing that makes the weekly wait (suffering) a little less painful… you get too to interact with a mostly good group of For Eagle Brothers watchers! When I watch an old show (older) there are far less people to share the experience with and gain insight and share frustrations with! Have you seen the Kdrama: Joseon Attorney: A Morality? I’m only in the first few episodes but it explains a lot of how horrible the laws/rules were especially for women. And where the disdain against divorce comes from even in situations of abuse or male infidelity. It has been illuminating to how SK culture is where it is today.

The length of time someone is married doesn't equate to the depth of their love. She is / was considered an older bride. So it could be thought that she hadn’t met the “one” until she met JangSu.
I wrote elsewhere that she is an adult and should get to decide when she’s ready to move forward and pursue a new relationship not on her mother’s timetable or the Chairman’s.
It seems that the SK culture is diametrically opposed to adults controlling their own lives when it comes to many things, but none more than marriage.
To step in to non-fiction for a moment, if this is representative of real life of what adults go through where their parents have the authority to force or reject at spouse… with SK’s declining birth rate… it seems like a system that needs some adjustment. Imho

If SangA implicates SJ in her father’s death, wouldn’t the police ask SA why didn’t you call an ambulance if you saw someone pushed/fall down a flight of steps? Talk about evil, even NJ didn’t make an anonymous call to the fire/rescue number.

I’m not a big fan of time jumps when it’s used to fix poor writing or lazy writing (maybe they’re the same thing)… In this case I think with respect to the FL, she should have time to grieve and process the loss of what seems like the first true love of her life. Time spent with someone doesn’t necessarily equal the depth of love that was there. Her mother pushing her in to blind dates (another irritant of Kdramas) a month or two after her husband dies seemed draconian. The FL is an adult and should get the providence to decide when she’s ready to date or not date.
So in this case a small time jump soon would give the fl the time to process her loss as the chairman has had plenty of time to process his. In the 10 or 15 years since his wife died his daughter had to trick him in to a date with her professor. The only down side which another user pointed out is we may have to get a different baby/toddler to play the role of HaNi.

During. CPR training they always say minimize movement in case there is a spinal injury… maybe it’s different in SK or just KDramas…🤔
