but Zumba brother wouldn’t even let her sit outside.

Yes, that’s very true and a very good point.
I think SR thought her impending marriage was always far away and in her mind never really going to happen, so she let her mother just talk.
In early episodes she barely argued and sadly she’s always in her room alone.
Then her mother moved up the wedding when she saw her daughter being “defiant” about marrying GH.
Then it all became real for SR.

I think SR’s mother “sold” HG that SR really liked him and wanted to marry him. She probably didn’t encourage him to see her as she knew SR didn’t see him romantically. Maybe 🤔

Interesting observation. I wondered during the time HG was away in the military, did SR see him, go on a date or two in the 2 years (I think) he was away? SR’s mother drove to see him when he was working in a hospital.

I think probably not or HG would have felt she was not attracted to him romantically?

It was funny when HG went to talk with SR in her room and her father is so concerned about her “virtue”. Please. And mom hopes something happens… 🤪

I will admit because you were brave enough to admit it, that I started liking her when she first met with the FL about the brother’s engagement to the Piano teacher.

She is genuine (much less annoying that the first 15 episodes (approximately). She has a good heart and can’t walk away when someone she cares about is in trouble, which is both a good & detrimental thing.

So many hate that couple or possible couple… are they my favorite story of the 5 or 6 happening, no. But I don’t want the WToD to pay her a visit either.

(Btw, the dancer brother actually brought up using her for her money. I thought that was mighty low of him. 🫤)
