Sadly, I think SR’s mother wrote the narrative and led HG to believe that SR loved & wanted to marry him.
I don’t believe SR was ever shown to be madly in love with him.
And I agree as soon as the other doctor was introduced… it felt let this is who HG will be with.

Initially I though, oh no SU & SJ are related! 😳

However I realized SJ’s birth father is rumored not to be Pi, but Jin…🤔

Right! Because even if the father is not biologically related to the ML, that would be a source of pain for SJ’s entire family!
