Wow, quite a review!!

I feel most KDramas have a weak finalé.

Someone wrote that this a Family Drama so the romance I’d not the most important part.
When I first watched these 50+ episode shows I thought they were just Rom-Coms on steroids!🫣

I would have like a little more time for some extended scenes of the leads, the brother and his wife….
Oh maybe just one more episode with nothing but good things happening!🤔

She’s treated pretty bad in “her” new home.
And MG-loser didn’t of course do anything when his mother snapped at GH.

I am happy she stood up to him at work. She may have no control over that soon though.

And I’m pretty sure punching DS was uncalled for.
(It wouldn’t make me happy but they have been friends for decades.)

So the hit score is

I think this is the problem with this show right now:

“… it becomes dreary if you don't balance little victories against the baddies getting their way.”

This was in a review from a completely different show from 2017.

I think it fits how this show makes me feel… dreary. 🤔
Perhaps hopeless is another appropriate adjective. 🤔

It is the perfect long (family / weekender) drama!!!

They really did give CR’s character a nice ending. She was very selfless to pay back the money and help her family. And had to leave the job she finally achieved and wanted to do that!

As frustrating as this series was at times, I’m going to miss these characters! 😢

To be fair the wife (cop) asks her husband (FL’s brother), why he didn’t tell her about what the family did?
He answered: so she would lose her job like him (not an exact quote lol).

Basically she knew it was to protect her, not because he didn’t trust her… they kissed. End scene.🎬

The finale could have been better, but as usual 36 (or choose 16 or 50) episodes and a rushed ending.

All the stories were wrapped up, but without a pretty bow on it. 🎁 — 🎀

The two at the top of your list don’t intentionally try to hurt people. It’s a byproduct of their ignorance, stupidity and self-centeredness.

The other 3 definitely know what they’re doing.
And do it intentionally for their own benefit even though they know it’s wrong.

I felt badly for HD when she had to ask her mil to pickup NoAh. And the mil (GB’s mother) said didn’t SHE take responsibility for the little boy. What?
The idiot doctor was going to leave her and the baby inside to take care of him BY HIMSELF. His mother would be having to do much more.

And GB the boys father should have called his mom to ask her to pick up NoAh.

I’m telling you both HD & GH should divorce and get an apartment together - they and their unborn children would be much better off!

If DS was just there a minute or two earlier… he would have heard/understood a completely different story - the truth!
And what happened to his father was his grandmother’s fault.

I wonder if these weekenders & dailies do financially well enough domestically that they don’t care to improve them?
I wonder if it’s just the international audience that is unhappy about certain aspects of these shows?

I do feel that across the board Kdramas are better in the first half and getting you engaged in the story. Then on the other side of the coin is usually the finalé.

I do hope the writer of Once Again would write a 36 or 50 episode show… she’s written some other really well done shows too!

That’s true, there is not clear goal or objective she working to accomplish.
Maybe DS will witness or overhear his grandmother repeat her threat or combo new threat old threat to Audrey. Once he would hear his grandmother actually stay what she did…she can’t manipulate him anymore.


(If is was GH, she would pretend she didn’t hear it and repeat she’s a good grandmother.)

That’s all Audrey knows how to do… make things more difficult by not doing what you said.

I understand her fears from years of being emotionally beat down, but your son is right in front of after 20 / 25 years… say something.
He’s going to be angry and freak out but at least he heard it from his mother.

I read they want her off the Holly project… I think that would be difficult for DS anyway.
Plus it may make her realize her mistake before episode 124!

There hasn’t been another weekender / family drama as good as this one!
